So you mean other towns should keep claiming others.

They will be swallowed by Onitsha just like Lagos, New York, Shenzhen, London etc overtime swallowed other surrounding towns and became the mega cities that they are today.

He did not only show you pictorial evidence, but confirmed facts and figures as well, coupled with Google Earth images which proved that Ibadan is just about 25km, which is barely larger than Onitsha metro yet you guys have been saying trash since how Ibadan is bigger than the whole East!! what else do you need him to do before you guys would accept the truth and throw in the towel??

Do you think that if you guys continue to regurgitate all those lies peddled by Lagos-Ibadan expressway media, it will one day become truth?? Dude, this is the jet age and all lies have been destroyed.

I like that you stick to the facts. If they hate it, they should go complain to the Yoruba man in charge of National Bureau of statistics.

The numbers are clear for everyone to see. I can’t wait for the remaining states to come out and also the 2019 statistics.

You guys have started this landmass trash you all always write. Do you know the 52KM you are taking about as the landmass of Onitsha does not cover Nkpor and Obosi areas? Onitsha has a total urban spread of 1,969 sqkm which includes Nkpor and Obosi. This information is even available for everyone to see on Wikipedia but, your bigotry will always blind your eyes when it comes to seeing good things from and about the east.

Kindly appraise what u wrote

@ emboldened actually shows you may not be that educated

Before a total land area is reached, the length and the breath of the land area are multiplied to reach the total land area. it's often written in meters square or Kilometres square

Hence, a dubious single line that is not even the total measurement of ibadan doesn't in any way capture the entirety of ibadan

Screen shots are provided below

Only ibadan is already more than half of Anambra.

Op is very funny Land mass of Onitsha alone is 52 km square while Ibadan alone (not Oyo state) is 3,080 km² . About 3,028km2 gap between the two cities! Because Onitsha is very small, a local government in Ibadan is bigger than entire Onitsha city, houses are compacted and mostly built as storey buildings in Onitsha. Onitsha is under developed based on allocation + year of existence on small land. But Ibadan is very big, beautiful storey buildings are scattered. When you stand somewhere snapping ibadan, you are only snapping the part you see. You can't see or cover entire part because of size. You only snapped old part of Ibadan, but fail to capture emerging areas

The only fine place is Agodi. Ibadan is very ugly. Stop being deceptive

Lol, wonder what will happen if ero, Ijare, elizade town is added to Akure south alone. Akure south minus those town and oda town still bigger than the whole onisha

I just busted a lie being paraded here that Onitsha is merely 52kmsq. I presented an evidence that Onitsha south and North alone is 501kmsq. That is just 2 local government out of the about 8 local government areas that make up the great Onitsha city.

I concluded by wondering what the total landmass will be if other lga were to be added.

Stop raising gorilla dust to evade this naked truth.

All what you have been talking about are not more than 5 GRAs in Ibadan.
Igboland is tiny, full of brown roofs, undeveloped and a massive IDP camp.

Wake me up when you have only one skyscraper in the entire Igboland.

I think Nigerian educational system should be more practical ,so most Nigerians would have better understanding of how things work .
Highrises and road constructions are very easy and not a mystery . At this age of Nigeria, all roads should be paved and there should be 15,20 to 30 storey apartment buildings littered everywhere. The apartments from 1 to 7 floor could be rented out ,pending when Nigeria has stable electricity for elevators.
Nigeria needs more construction engineering technicians, welders, electricians, plumbers, crane operators, structural engineers, etc.
Nigeria is a country of wastage . For example,Akwa ibom government I estimate spent $200 million dollars on a foreign company to build a 20 storey that could be built for 20 million dollars.
Why do you think there's 30 story apartment buildings littered everywhere in China ? That's because almost everyone there now understands the practicality of how things work. They don't have to pay millions or billions to foreign companies.

How many have u built

Your ignorance no get part 2, those sub towns are now part of Onitsha metropolis, you can hardly differentiate main Onitsha and those neighboring towns and LGs, that's why I said you measuring only Onitsha clearly shows you are ignorant, most of the major markets and industries are located in sub towns
Go and meet them and tell them they are part of onitsha Kikikiki. Sebi na you dump them inside onitsha. Don't worry, Ogbomoso, oyo, iseyin is now part of Ibadan kikikiki

You dey mind that one. Fact is by grabbing another local government together just to feel fine that onitsha is big. Even if you give them those local government they drag, the whole onitsha with those they are grabbing still not up to Akure south alone, talkless of Ibadan.
