But who are these kind of idiots in our nation? So Buhari should first seek consent to restrict movement from Lagos to Abuja in order to prevent people getting infected all over the country. And you will see may fools on Nairaland supporting this idiot. Well, even their convener has said his business matters to him than FG saying everybody should stay at home. And if you don't agree with them, they shut you up.

The idiots are actually people like you that don't realise that Nigeria is no more a military dictatorship. It's the State Governors that can issue order to restrict movement in their respective States.

Let buhari rescind the order then while fct keep spreading it to other states
Everyone supports the lock down. All we are saying is for the government to follow the process. Is that too difficult to understand or are we just gonna bring politics into everything?

They should carry people like this that wail at everything to the isolation centre in Yaba to go and be forced volunteer. People are talking life and death, this unknown entity wants to trend. Nonsense.

If the situation in our country gets to how it is in US, Spain and Italy, these same set of people will get on any TV talk show and start complaining that government did not act early enough.

as a lawyer he should have known the importance of National security and Public health and the urgency of the matters at hand because they will still be the one to blame the fresident tomorrow if he fails to take drastic actions..

If Bubu had taken such drastic actions to restrict flights and block our borders while quarantining abroad returnees whether big or small ,,we would not be here in the first place..

But I will still side with the Honourable SAN because if the executive is allowed such powers without recourse to the Constitution and due process ,Buhari may wake up any day and shut down a whole state for flimsy reasons which will be a derogation from the doctrine of Separation of power.

All in all,,the President should take drastic measures to curb the pandemic but should follow the Rule of Law

#peace
I bet we should have encountered this same criticism of he had locked Nigerian boarders at that time. Humans are just not satisfied.

Buhari has NO Constitutional Power to shut down any state for whatever reason, with recourse to the National Assembly.

He still thinks that he's in the khaki era.

I don't care if the president shut down the whole of Nigeria, but what we should all be worried about is how the masses are going to survive with the level of hardship already in place.
