Great news....Biafra loading

Dangote.......how market?
Dangote's refinery is into 'value addition', not selling of raw material. When complete, his mega profits would not be affected by oil price.

The fact that Nigeria's illiterate leaders use a volatile natural resource to plan it's yearly budget is shocking and irresponsible. Before oil was discovered in Nigeria, Nigeria was thriving and successful with the exportation of Cocoa/other agricultural produce. Then boom came oil discovery and this country has regressed back into the dark ages with lootings and underdevelopment.

To make matters worse now that every country is striving for cleaner fuels and moving towards electrical/nuclear/wind/solar /water energy, Nigeria has spent more billions looking for oil in the North so that they would not depend on the Niger Delta for oil and that has been a fruitless venture. I hope at least there is someone in this illiterate Northern Nepotistic government that has at least more than a few brain cells and can think of a strategy out of this mess, if not Nigeria will be another Venezuela.
I like you. Check that write up and tell me what you think. I believe we are in a deep mess.

apart from fufu and cocoyam soup, what resources can you people boast of

Human resources!

A well educated and ingenious Human Resources!!!

That's what they can boast of; and that's all that is really really needed.

Nigeria has being boasting with oil resources, yet we're the world poorest; not just that, the poorest of the poorest in impoverished Nigeria, are from the part of the country that has enjoyed the so called resources.

Grow up, lazy man. Always talking about a useless resource you can't add value to.
A resource you can't refine, a resource that you end up buying back from those who don't have the resource, but have the Brains to take it from your illiterate self and do something of value.

Resource my foot.

You can go and drink those in the high sea you are now begging those without resources to come and buy at peanut price.

...as if the populace is benefiting from the trillions of oil barrels sold in the past.
Of course, they keep looting the money in billion dollars while plunging the "corntree" into total disarray.
Bunch of greedy modafucckers.

A lot of Nigerians lack the knowledge of how the economy works, that's why many people share this your belief that oil price doesnt affect them.

The economy is currently functioning today from oil sold 3-4 months ago. Oil not being sold today will affect the economy in about 3 months time. Just patiently wait until July/August this year when a single kobo in forex doesnt come into the country. By then, when a litre of petrol sells for N1500, and when you buy a small pack of indomie for N700, you will know whether oil price affects you or not.

And we don't even even have working refineries to recall those stranded loaded vessels and refine the crude oil ourselves to sell locally and even sell to nearby countries. After this pandemic Nigeria will change for sure cos they have learnt alot from the outbreak
You actually think your leaders are human beings that can learn lessons or change?.. Lol

These oil exploration didnt start now its been there, so why are people blaming these guy, why didnt people shout when cocoa and gnut was the main thing then before oil was discovered in olubiri? And for now we should think deep, taxes, Agriculture, local manufacturing, other mineral resources, coal is there etc you people should stop oil will still bounce back and when it does only those will are ready for it wl cash out big.if every other part of the country can be drilling for oil what stops the north too. Let stop been one sided. God bless nigeria.
