My girlfriend came back from winsconsin USA around may due to some reasons, the court wedding we planned couldnt hold as we planned it...and finally went to back states,and now she trying to send me an invitation fiancee letter and we are not legally married...pls guyz i dont know how to go about this matter....i need advice from u guyz to put me through thanks...and she is Nurse as well

2) When you are done completing your profile information and scheduled your appointment, you will be able to add others. it will also ask for your payment receipt (for you and your wife). This mean you will make 2 separate payment in GTB

If you are the main applicant and you applied together,there's no need to open a separate account..You will add her in ur account and schedule ur appt together..

I told u I got the visas for my kids on Monday but I couldn't hear the consular further immediately she said the visa were approved for my kids. I quickly left the consular"s presence immediately she said the visa were approved before she changes her mind as to if not to approve the visa again, ( u know these consulars can be funny sometimea) and now I don't know when to pick their passports from dhl office.
Pls for those who got their visas in Lagos on Monday, when are u people asked to pick up your visas ?

I didn't answer cos I honestly don't know. It depends on the situation. Are u guys staying with him/her? If no then really he/she isn't his relative. If u wanna add the cousin and he dosent it dosent add or take anything away IMO

Isiri yes u can. My passport is still in my maiden name, my husband and I applied seperately for US, jointly in UK. It don't marrer. They know the process of name change in naija is tedious. But pls read this thread cos this question shows u haven't

Been reading ardently and praying too. Filled all my documents by myself on my desk. VO didn’t even check a single document. My advice: Be honest, confident and most of all PRAY!!!
Thanks to God, to people like LadyGuinivere, NanaF, Chloe7, Justwise and all the other people.
Less than 24 hours to the interview, I discovered that the barcode on my DS-160 was different from that on the appointment confirmation, I followed the advice of imperialebony and this was resolved in record time. I discovered 6pm and sent a mail . It was resolved before 10am the next day.
All in all, I thank God for favour. Transcript later.

At last I was able to schedule my appointment after having password problems. Had to chat with CGI staff online who actually help me out. M getting set for the day. God will perfect all our heart desires IJN

1. The embassy (ies) ask u not to send them attachments except to sort out certainb issues
2. U are inviting your friend and the letter is addressed to her so u send to her. So send to her and she takes it to the embassy. If they need it they l ask for it

All thanks to baba God. I'm so happy for you. In 2004, I also got a USA visa on a virgin passport....my very first passport, of course. I had never visited ordinary Benin republic, prior to that time. I was in my late 20s then. The funniest part of the story was, I was asked to go and meet an agent by some friends, who would package my documents for me at a stated sum. I refused because I believed in God and myself. I didn't know anybody in America before that time, even after I got my visa. I was registered for an IT training that time online on windows server 2003 enterprise edition . I didn't even have any fore-knowledge of this programme but I was so much interested in the programme because it was new and unique. I got to the embassy, with courage and ultimately with , prayers. I actually fasted. I'm sorry I'm putting religion into this but in think it's also important I share the secret of my success with you. When I was called to an interview cubicle, my heart was beating fast so, I recited a book of palms that I had crammed from my childhood on the tally number given to me. Believe me, I didn't spend up to 3 minutes before this American young dude that interviewed me.He just folded my application and inserted it in my passport, and gave me a blue tally back with a printed receipt. He said I should come the following Tuesday along with the tally for my visa. It was like a dream. Since then, I've been touring the world like somebody going to Ikeja, from Alagbado, lol. In a year, I visit 7 countries, minimum. Not for pleasure though, but strictly business. I wish you the very best and be a good fella when you get to Yankee and pleaseeeee, come back! Make sure you bring opportunities back home, just like I did. That's my piece of advice for you because nigeria is a fertile land...I mean, there's money in Nigeria

good day house. please how can i remove a ds160 confirmation number from the appointment scheduling page and replace it with another. i only just created the profile pade but not picked a date yet. but i had inputed a ds160 confirmation number berfore i realised that i made a mistate when filling oout the previous ds160. now i filled out another one but if i wipe out the old ds number and input the new one, it keeps giving me an error message. even though i havent picked a date yet.

Lucky you i must say,i went to the embassy with no documents,but i was asked for my invitation letter,which i never bothered to print online,guess i was refused a visa on monday because of this. I learnt a lesson,always be prepare for anything. Wish you a nice trip to the states.

My History........

I have been refused for like 3 to 4 times in the past. The last one was last year August when i wanted to attend my Cousin Graduation ceremony.I coud'nt answer some questions properly. for example, i was asked my Cousin Age and i totally forgot... Even though on a good day, i know it but some how somehow i mentioned a wrong age.... That was for last year August....

VO: started typing on his system.... Why are you going to US
Me: To attend my Cousin Wedding ceremony

Vo: What does been a ******* specialist mean

ME: I explain it better to his understanding what i do daily as my job function

Me: yes

Vo: Do you have kids?

Vo: checked my passport and saw i usually go to a particular country every year. He now asked what i usually go there for ( This same question was asked last year but because i wasnt expecting such question, i just said something that even me know is wrong.)
Me: My Company Head office is there and every staff is expected to go there at least once in a year for training and seminar.

Vo: started typing again and said your visa has been Approved. Pick it up on Monday and gave me a white paper with address.
Me: Thank you.


NOTE:
1) I didnt go with any document at all (well i printed the wedding iv and didnt use it shaa)
2) No document was checked/asked for (i didnt have any one anyway)
3) I watch the VO Google hangout and it was helpful

I could not stop laffing at ur honesty. I know that moment when ur approval is announced. Any way it usually two working days after ur interview. Dat means ur passport has bn ready since yday. Disregard the fact dat u didn't get a notification from DHL. I had my interview on Wednesday. The vo told me to pick up by " the end of the week ". I even tracked on line.no info. Friday morning I was at DHL. Dey asked if I got any notification. I said no. I had this body language of " m not leaving here wtout my passport ". Dey checked n saw it.lol

Contact CGI they will rectify it for you or better still send an email to support@ustraveldocs.com they'll fix the problem for you.
