Theres no problem with this except that we Igbos are going to insist that all Igbo speaking people be put in the Eastern Region. This means that Igbanke in Edo state, Anioma in Delta state, Umuezeokoha in Benue state and Ikwerre, Ekpeye, Ahoada, Asa all Igbo speaking people in Rivers state be added to the present South East to make the Eastern Region.

Good.... Make everybody go their own region while Lagos, and port Harcourt and kano should be the economy capital and Abuja country's capital but that that doesn't mean Lagos should be tagged no man's land
Lagos will be fully the economic capital of the western region. Other region should have theirs too.

Oga, we Ikwerre/Etche people are Niger Deltans and we would never allow ourselves be added to any eastern region if the restructuring ever happens.

If the north leads the so-called restructuring process to fit their grand design again, the rest of the country should object. What I have learnt from all that is going on is that the socalled north gets away with all sorts of evil , simply because the rest of the country is docile. The lopsided state and local government structures in place today were all whimsically designed by northern army officers to favour the north to the detriment of the southern part of the country especially the east. They have more states, more local governments, more allocations, more senators, more....., it's endless ! Now, they are fearful that after Buhari, with the trends of political events, a real restructuring might happen, and they want to quickly effect changes to guarantee nothern domination for another century. This is wrong! It's either everybody is treated equally going forward, or the whole country should expire..

Oga gaskiya, am a northerner but, truly you have sense..in the words of jay.z -your so far ahead of your life u bout to start another life..

Note:Fact is no region can restructure Nigeria except the North..it's simply the bitter truth..

If you don't have resources in the East, how is that everybody's business? Restructuring must be done and you know it. It just a matter of time

Restructuring will bathe next line of protest. We have lived enough in pretence.

This system of government is too expensive, unprogessive and not sustainable.

The earlier the better.

I don't see anything wrong with this formula and can't understand how they will still dominate if the country is restructured as such.
No one will have the right to dictate for anyone in his region..
But I will still prefare a 5 ways disintegration if that will be the case.

Niger Delta Republic
Biafera Republic.
Oduduwa Republic.
Midland Republic.
Arewa Republic.

With this, some group of people who are looking for crude oil from another man's land to steal, will have to manage what they have

12 States, 19 States or hundred States, there must be a referendum for the people to decide. No one has any right to impose a structure on the people. If a section of a language group decide on their own volution to go with another group, so be it. Yet it must be their own esteemed choice. The Northern Governors Forum a couple of weeks ago said they had no Restructuring on their agenda, now they say it hasn't been covered by mainstream media. Haba!

You are claiming people that are not Igbo. Go and read about the people of Ikwere. They are from Edo state and not igbo, Igbo language only influenced their patrilineal language because Igbo people dominated the ikwere people land... Igbanke people also had similar experience the reason they speak Igbo.

What you dont know is that, if the terms and conditions propose by the North not go down well with the rest of other regions, people will simply start advocating for total disintegration of the country, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

This is not 1967, no one will go into any civil war to achieve this. The south are too big and sophisticated enough to do it with ease if they truely wanted to.

Exactly, Lagos will be the economic capital of the SW region while Ibadan should be our political capital. Other cities that are currently capitals can fully focus on serving as industrial/ commercial centers.
