well 4 me, i dont think that the type of heart break here is the type the heart divides into two or stuffs like that.this simply means disappointment and betrayal of trust.

very rare but some pples heart actually begins to fail after an emotional trauma. it enlarges slightly but the condition is transient and treatable. its called a broken heart syndrome.

when you have given ur heart to someone because u trusted the person, then the person now turn around and betray ur trust for him or her, It is just an expression not a physical heart wrack.

Hmm, I always relayed a "broken heart" the same as "broken spirited".  But then again, the bible do say: "guard your heart with all diligence".  All the same.  Whatever the real meaning is, it's a very deep emotion/feeling and it's something nobody wants to go through. But eventually one time or another it will happen.

It is an emotional breakdown. wc begins to manifest in d behavioural pattern of the concerned individuals. It is obvious mainly, in pipo dat r ruled by their emotions(luv wt their hrt), wc in turn, affects arterial blood flow, venous return, blood pressure n cardiac output. All these may lead to cardiac arrest if care is nt taken. However, for those who love wt their brains, they dont go thru all that emotional cycles of trauma, instead, they shake their heads n move on as if nothing had happened.
