Tanzanian army have been involved in different military operations globally in these nations either in peacekeeping or in the actual wars..

1.Drc ( cirrently,against M 23 rebels )
2.Darfur,sudan
3.Mozambique. ( war against RENAMO rebels supported by south africa)
4. Comoro
5.Syschelles( successfully avoided a coup)
6.Uganda( a head to head war)
7.Lebanon( peacekeeping)
8.Angolan civil war( fighting alongside Cubans)
9.Liberia( peacekeeping)
10. Namibian independence
11. DRC ( during Laurent kabilas overthrowing of Mobutu sense seko regime)

In all operations,Tanzanian army have never lost a war.

* The Second World War
* The Nigerian Civil War

Peace keeping/enforcement operations in

* The Congo
* Tanzania
* Liberia
* Sierra Leone
* Lebanon
* Darfur
* The former Yugoslavia
* Mali


Defensive duties including

* The Bamileke Rebellion
* Chadian Rebels (1982/83)
* The Bakassi Peninsula

Internal Security duties including

* The Tiv Rebellion
* The Western Region Crisis
* The Niger-Delta Crisis (1966)
* The Agbekoya Rebellion
* The Niger Delta Crisis (1992-2009)
* The Boko Haram Insurgency.

Anti-Robbery operations, including:

* Operation Sweep
* Rapid Response Squad
* Operation Yaki
* Operation Messa

Etc.

I'm fortunate, my dad still alive with bullets wounds. Mum made sure none of her sons goes through the trauma again.
