Someone asked in one of the threads what Buhari's offence is? S/He wanted to know why people had misgivings about the man.
This is my attempt to answer the poster:

Buhari's "ooffiense" is that in the early 80's he started a movement of coupists that all but destroyed the democratic PROCESS we were building. Had that process been allowed to take it's natural course, we would have evolved politically to such an extent that the current level of corruption we are seeing in the polity would have been reduced by constantly effective checks and balances.
The current corruption in the polity is as a result of Buhari's coup. His coup birthed IBB's, Abacha's etc, hence he should be held responsible for the mess we find ourselves in.

Buhari is the reason we are in this mess.

True. So Vote GEJ? We need to continue this mess.

GEJ is working hard to clear that mess. The mess created by the dictators. People like Buhari, IBB and Abacha drove Nigerians into the state they have found themselves today. It takes years to correct such decadence. GEJ has been in office for just 10 months. He has done a lot of things better. We all need to support him in this fight.
