Lagos has enough ports let there be more ports in other parts of the country especially the coastal parts
Then let the governments in other coastal parts of the country execute that. Or were you told that the Lekki Deep Seaport is a Federal Government project?

Are you new to Lagos state?

Mile2 blue rail was Also kicked and is still kicking over 7 years now undecided .

You think building a rail line is the same as reconstructing a highway?
Apapa-Oshodi Expressway has taken only about 30 months to reconstruct.

There’s a reason that Lagos is the ONLY subnational government in Africa to build/finance a light rail...
Even an advance economy like NYC’s took several decades to finally complete the Second Ave line (launched in 2017).

Even if some of this chimps get a port it still probably won't change their predicament, you simply can't give what you don't have even if you're given all the resources available, there would always be a reason or an excuse why you just can't level up.

All seaports are prioritize at Lagos State. Why not fund immediate construction of other seaports too in the south south or south east to distribute economic advantage.
The Lekki Deep Seaport is a project of Tolaram Group and the Lagos State government. Tell your governors in the South South to do the same and stop whining. Or is it Lagos that should do that for you? Crybabies.

That's y Tinubu get sense!

All una leaders couldn't bring dividend to ur zone

If OBJ shut ur port

GEJ was president for 6 YEARS
Ekeweremadu deputy Senate
Ihodia speaker

U guys are ur own enemies

U people enjoy making stupid statement as a defend to injustice being meted out on other sections of Nigeria aside Yoruba land. U der gej, Yorubas cried like babies on newspapers and all over social media that they are marginalised by gej, u guys nearly died. U even had to vote an evil genius, a coup plotters and an ethnic jongoist out of jealousy...u couldn't stand at the disadvantaged position that IGBOs have stood in for the past 50 years.

U were already hating on gej and yorubas called awusa people & formed apc to topple gej and u mumuishly still expected him to open over 6 eastern ports so that Lagos state will collapse so that u can hate him even more? Mind u, gej was president for 5 years, stop the stupidity.

How will ekwwremmadu and ihedioha force the awusa-afonja govt to reopen eastern ports? Are u a lunatic? Is it the job of their office to reopen eastern ports?

Keep making excuses, U have moved from ur initial angle and u are now blaming easterners for the seaports shutdown by awusa-afonja who have run nigeria since 1960

Thiefnubbu has nonsense, The north agreed with yarriba for all ports in the east to be shutdown because awusa themselves have no access to the sea. If awusa had access to the sea, they would be no single working port inlagos state

I hope they would also look into other regions port precisely the south east /south south Ports so as to diversify and decentralize too much concentration in one region which is the bane reason we are seeing so much congestion and gridlock in lagos ports area.
This is a Lagos State project, don't South South and South East have governors?

Before you start complaining about the duration of the project. The land you are seeing there was actualy reclaimed from the ocean. Kilometers of sea-breaker start from the sea bed tall to meters of hight above the ocean was also built! wink

Oga, this is an initiative of Tolaram Group and Lagos State Government. Let your own governors also bring up such projects with some private companies so that the NPA will also "decide everything." Until then, keep crying.

Why should akwaibom waste 2 billion dollars to build a Seaport wen the FG thru the NPA has made sure that Warri, Onne, Calabar, Porthacourt seaports are comatose.
Huh? Is a person really asking this question?

The massive economic benefits Akwa-Ibom state stands to accrue in terms of infrastructure, employment and revenue from the seaport means nothing to you? It's USELESS and a WASTE because FG isnt managing Warri port well? This has to be the most bizarre form of logic I've encountered in a very very long time, Wow!!!

Okay no problem, let the state keep going to Abuja to collect handouts from the FAAC; they can use the handouts to build more places of worship since economic benefit means nothing to them. Anyway, allow Akwa-Ibom people to decide for themselves; nothing in the world would make them tow your bizarre line of reasoning.
