This man speaks like a typical poverty loving, self centred and myopic northern politician. Millions of Nigerians are in poverty and yet he says the entire 200 million Nigerians want it to remain as it is because they are "benefiting". Thousands have been driven from their homes by terrorists, bandits and other unscrupulous elements. Some local governments don't have access to public works like water, electricity and even security yet he says all local governments are "functioning". Ethnic crises in the west has driven northerners back to their states of origin, he says no market closed. Many people are talking about leaving out of fears of conflict spreading and he's talking about bridges working. What is wrong with the crop of politicians we ended up with? |

Instead of a national conference let us hold a referendum on the the unity of Nigeria . Any region that wants to separate should be allowed to go. WHEN I SEE NORTHERN ELDERS AND YOUTH CALLING FOR WAR AT THE MENTION OF NIGERIA DIVISION, I SHAKE MY HEAD. THIS IS BECAUSE NIGERIAN DOES NOT KNOW WHAT WAR LOOKS LIKE. let me state here clearly that nigeria has never fought civil war before in their land, the war that was fought was biafra war in the former eastern region land of biafra republic. Even buhari & obasanjo does not know how to fight war on equal footing, they were only using modern machines from britain to spray bombs on biafra land at the comfort of their camps. Any was that wil lead to breakup of nigeria will be called nigerian civil war, because it will be fought in all parts of nigeria- hausa will fight fulan, fulani fight yorubas, igbo wil fight yorubas, and efik/ijaws wil fight igbos and after thier great war with so many death toll, the six different regions will divide and go their seperate ways to form their country. To avert this disaster because it wil surely happen, referendum must be organised for all regions in nigeria |
