I don't know why men cheat but I guess it's because they lack contentment. Anyway, not all of them cheat.

Men cheat because they evolved to spread their DNA and increase the chances that their DNA is passed on. Just look at the animal world most male animals will do it with as many females as possible.

Of course we are human and have set "rules" that restrict the male from spreading his DNA, its nly the strongest of men that will not cheat if cornered in a room with a fine sisi and guaranteed 100% that he will not be found out.

Since men are the one's being discussed, they should be the ones answering. Maybe they can give first-hand experience or reasons from friends and family.

I think it's because sex is cheaper and easier to get these days; more like getting free water or an alternative ''pure water'' for 5 naira.

Apparently, long-term relationships seem to suck the sex drive out of many women, leaving men gasping for fulfillment. With the need for more sex, some men will start "working late" more often.

Or it could just be that the sex has become boring. She doesn't want to try new things in bed, or won't perform MouthAction. Some men may cheat because they don't want their girlfriends or wives to perform certain sex acts that would ruin their "good girl" image, so they get a mistress to take care of it. Like Robert de Niro said in Analyze This , "That's the mouth she kisses my kids good night with!"

I absolutely agree with Ogugua above. Why would u limit this thread to ladies? How can they give u an accurate response when they r not men? Is it not the person wearing the shoes that knows where it pinches? If u really want an honest accurate answer, u better read the men's responses.

As 4 me, i beleive men cheat because:

-they satisfy an innate need to hunt and kill/capture. This is how men were built, it is the hormones, that is why thruout history men always tried to conquer new territories etc. And this need is insatiable. However, it can be controlled.

- men also cheat because they have big egos. These big egos make them vulnerable to insecurity. This makes them to feel the need to prove to themselves that they r good enough to be appreciated by others (ladies) every now and then.

Enuff said, wouldnt do to reveal all the secrets now, would it?
