Hi liciouslucy,
i just joined this forum 2day and thus i'm only just seeing ur post.i hope you were still able to write the exams? i dont knw if this post will still be of any use to you.the only challenge in INTER 1 is acct but it wont be a problem if u have an accounting background.you can always read at home.recently, CIPM has started including fill in the gap questions in their exams.it wasn't like that before but things are changing.meaning that you really have to study.all the best.

Hi all, thanks for this informative thread.

I currently work as a recruitment specialist and would love to go for my second degree. I have bought the National Open University MBA form but i am thinking of augmenting the MBA with a Professional post graduate diploma from Unilag.

Can anyone please help me with useful information about this program? (fees, duration, course requirements and course outline). i checked the unilag website and i saw that they offer Diploma in HRM, Advanced Diploma in HRM and Professional Diploma in HRM.

Awaiting your useful replies. God bless you

[color=#990000]Hello all. Good to be part of this. Pls I plan to register for d next diet of CIPM exams comin up August. I work in Asaba and recently discovered that there are no study centers here. My question s, are d classes only on d weekends?? Cos then I cud move down to Warri for d lectures wen necessary.. Pls I really need a reply ASAP. Thanks.
.
Re: Human Resource Professionals: by soaring4life: 11:01am On Mar 19, 2013
@obiamakaS
CIPM classes only take place on weekends because most of the students and even lecturers are working class people.
I wouldnt know which diet you will be starting with but if you are starting with INTER 1, the only challenge you might have is account and that will only be if you do not have accounting background.For INTER 2, there are no calculations, so you can always study by yourself.hope this helps.
Re: Human Resource Professionals: by obiamakaS(f): 12:33pm On Mar 19, 2013
@soaring4life
It certainly does help. And seeing as I hv a Bsc, I tink ill be startin off wt INTER2. Thanks a bunch!

For the HR Folks

Hire for Today’s Need and Tomorrow’s Vision

Remember that you’re hiring for the future. While a new employee has to make economic sense for today’s tasks, the best hires are people who position you to profit as your business moves into the future. New people should provide the skills you need in the future, not just match the job demands you see today. Be clear about your strategic direction for the future, and then hire the talent to help you achieve it.

Other things you need to know
