Nonsense people…
Na now wet Europe dey look for alternative you remember say you get gas.
What has been done to gas price that’s around N700/kg inside the country…
You can’t do a pipe around the country for cheaper gas in everywhere.
But you want to help Europe solve their problem.
But that's an opportunity for private sector to thrive. It's an opportunity for you to become a billionaire

Hopes that will soon be a mirage. Ordinary 24hrs electricity they have failed miserably to provide, something that has been achieved by smaller African nations for ages now but look at them talking about exporting gas to Europe.

While would any fool indulge in such wasteful and expensive project of laying gas pipe across the desert when such fund could be used to raise first class gas terminal in Niger Delta? Why do these dumbass southerners allow themselves to be used for the benefit of northern region? What animal created Timipe Sylva? I guess Ahmadu Bello was correct after all.
And Russia pipeline got to Europe. Stop limiting yourself. The gas terminal would mean having more gas trains to Europe
The pipes are more sustainable and in the long run will be cheaper. It will also serve many countries along its route

How does it help US

There is really no gain for US selling gas because we can never get a good price even if we quadruple our gas exports we will not get any game changing money from that.
Yes it is good for the oil companies which are European and American.
Last year how much did we make from gas? Peanuts

The only usefulness of gas to us is if we can expand OUR OWN capacity to use gas inside Nigeria to reduce poverty, generate power and create jobs

Exporting gas is lazy, exploitative and foolish

Nigerians are generally people who do not believe in future, they believe in NOW. As a very religious set of people, Nigerians believe in not thinking for God, not thinking about what God will do tomorrow but allowing God to carry the cross of tomorrow by itself!
Even if they build the pipeline and make the huge money today, they will definitely squandered all the money today!

We thought of this yesterday. Since independence, no sense of belonging , no futuristic leadership, no sensible leaders who could have helped put Nigeria on the map
We're so blessed as a nation yet, living like paupers. Leaders would only come, loot and go and the trend continues. while the likes of those called the BRICS today were busy developing their nations, we were sleeping. Obasanjo was head of state when Indonesia came to learn of oil palm plantation, the claim which obj shamefully denied despite the fact that those whom Indonesians met in his government back then were still alive and attested to the fact. Indonesia became the world largest exporters of palm oil a few decades later. Obj turned operation feed the nation to Obasanjo Farm Nigeria by the tine he was leaving as military head of state, the acronym OFN remained but with different full meanings .

You see? Tell me how a country could ever develop in a situation like this. Shagari came and looted. Only Buhari/Idiagbon meant well for Nigeria but their administration was short-lived by coup. IBB came and made it worse. Abacha came and was busy taking Nigerian fortunes away and keeping them in foreign banks, using Bagudu, one of the current APC governors as his courier. The same man was arrested and jailed in the USA only came back home to become governor under APC. Let me tell you this...they cannot trace all abacha loots. Its much! His family can buy Nigeria with what they've stolen. Obj came back , same story , Jonathan and yaradua nko? Yaradua would have been another messiah but he was taken off by death at the early state of his administration. GEJ, the mumu leader was installed but what did he do? Corruption only held sway. Apc came, thinking buhari of the 80s wouid sanitize Nigeria. For where? Now we're beginning to believe what some were speculating in the 80s, that it was idiagbon who was ruling and not Buhari, that the latter was a mere figure head.

Today, Nigeria would have been raising shoulders with the likes of America in development. Why did I say so? Mention Any leading corporations in the world where you'd not find a Nigerian heading a key position? They're even in the government of most western countries, in their defence, building their economy etc. The Russia everyone is talking about today is just a step ahead of Nigeria in gas enrichment. They're 8th in the world while were 9th.

Among the crop of politicians vying for the presidential seat today, only 2 of them mean well. The rest would come and loot.

Ask me the solution to Nigeria's problem...

The answer is...REVOLUTION!

Everything Google. That you even think Google has answer to all question shows ur level of ignorance, now let.me school you about how Google work. Google is a search engine, what it does is to search for you what has been posted on the internet, mainly things related to why you type in. And in doing so it have no way of telling if the what is posted on the internet is false or not. If I post nairaland is giving free 1m naira to member and post in on the internet, and you use google to search about it google will reveal it to you. Whether its false or true.

Northerners are not crooks but smarts. They usually strategize and use dumbass southerners to execute their plans. Northerners started with convincing southerners that Igbo is a problem to everybody in Nigeria. In addition, they used the method of reclaim.
