• Ganduje, El-Rufai oppose, 3 others neutral

As the presidential primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) draws near, 17 governors elected on the platform of the party have agreed to support whoever preferred aspirant President Muhammadu Buhari presents.

Buhari had, before traveling to Spain, told the APC governors to support him to pick a preferred aspirant who will be endorsed to fly the party’s flags in next year’s presidential election.

Daily Sun gathered that only the governors of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje and Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai, have outrightly rejected the idea of President Buhari picking one aspirant for endorsement.
Governors of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Osun, Adegboyega Odetola and Katsina, Aminu Masari, are sitting on the fence on the matter, it was gathered.

Sources said that there is 50-50 chance the three governors who are neutral now may go either way.

It is expected that by Sunday, the preferred aspirant would be unveiled to the governors, ahead of Monay, June 6, 2022 special national convention.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in Pmb having an Intrest on whom he feels should be his party candidate.
Nigerians with Pvc will decide who should be president.

I think for the first time I will be supporting Buhari fully is this. Alot of people turned zombies and defend Buhari clueless rule thinking Buhari will handover power to Tinubu, but their eyes is gradually opening.

Buhari pick your candidate, I am fully in support.

Tinubu owe his people in Benin republic an apology. He kept Mute over their woes in the hands of Fulani herdsmen in other not to piss off the northerners. Keeping mute, did it save his ass? no, giving millions to northernèrs and abandoning his people in Benin, did it make him Buhari preferred candidate? No.

But since Tinubu has been going about on how he made everyone; senators, governors and even President, he should jus go ahead and make himself President so everyone can rest

Useless tinubu will preside over Lagos, not nigeria. Selfish old man, as if persons didn't make him governor, while he himself, denied others their rights in Lagos APC. Crook, who kept quiet while his people were on exile in benin, and kept quiet when d only person who summoned courage to confront the killings was fought by the government.

When we say Buhari will make sure his candidate gets the ticket, they think we are joking. Tinubu has being licking Buhari balls for the past 7 years thinking that will make Buhari hand him the Presidency. Imagine Tinubu couldn’t say anything during the time herdsmen were slaughtering his people, all because of his selfish lifelong ambition.

Tinubu has no plan, all he knows is "I made Buhari president, it's my turn" Nigeria is not fuel that people buy in turns.

“How can any sane person be proud that he made Buhari president?
Is that an achievement anyone should be proud of?”

Hhhmmm this is nolonger looking funny, now I know why Buhari made the statement of having a preferred candidate in mind and won't expose him yet so they don't eliminate him. It's clearer now. Well

Tinubu said he deserved to be president because he helped Buhari became president......... A normal person cannot be reasoning like this in 2022,

What did you achieved in Lagos for 8years that you want to replicate at the federal level......you are telling us help Buhari to win presidency
