Alj-haram,
we have traditional rulers the same way we have eze ndiigbos. So, it's left for SA to act as a bridge between those leaders and the gov't, inorder, to effectively fill that lacuna that is prevalent in the gov't-masses relationship. There's no way an onye ndu(eze) ndiigbo will exclussively sublimate his service to the imolites, but, this SA will work for the interest of the imolites. She'll help in harnessing the needs of imolites resident in lagos.

[s]Before you people tear this man apart it's imperative that you understand why he's doing what he's doing. If you watched his inauguration speech then you won't fault his decision. This decision is geared at decentralizing power which he said is his primary goal. So, if someone from Okigwe needs something from government he doesn't have to go all the way to owerri. He can get it right at his doorstep. That explains the number of Special advisers and assistants you're seeing.

Haram,
can u compare the nö Yorubas in rivers and jos to that of igbos in lagos? Man, there's need to pay adequate attention to those areas that harbors the most challenge, and from there it'll get to lower areas.

Nigeria's Nescient democracy has always been characterized by Duplication of offices and Red Tape, a political school of thought that is culturally imbibed in all politicians practicing in Nigeria. even LGA counselors have special assistants and special advisers in Nigeria.

Roland, those duplication of offices helps in generation of employment for the teeming populace. Consider those guys employed with those duplicated office moving in the labor market.

If duplication of offices is ur own way of reducing employment i think it's really absurd, what happens to the financial constraints it places on the people and the budget? why not revamp large scale manufacturing industries in the state and employ more youths, i guess we can also encourage Ghost workers in the civil service?
Re: Rochas Okorocha Appoints Nkiru Sylvanus Sa, Lagos Affairs by enyojo(f): 5:53pm On Jul 20, 2011
It is so absurd for any looser to compare Ikedi with Rochas.

However, Cheif comedian to the president, sorry governor is not a nice one if u ask me.

Roland,
rochas has done alot in the area of exterminating ghost worker through his recent audit and reviews. And how can u place financial encumberance on the citizens when u get them employed? I can't get where u're coming from. Does it mean that it's better to be wangling in the labor market than to settle down with one form of job or the other? One of the primary things required of a good government is creation of employment opportunities. Nigeria is overpopulated, so, u have to use any legal means available to get everyone employed. Industries alone cannot contain all the jobless fellows.

After reading the list, did any of the names mentioned strike you as unemployed or even youths? i am from IMO state and i know many of the people listed, 86% of them are accomplished and recycled old bigots who are been compensated, i love Rochas and i believe he has got the core competence to lead IMO state, but the school of thought that believes a large cabinet of duplicated offices would reduce unemployment is not only deceptive but fallacious. all the same cheers man.

While Aregbesola is running a one-man show, Rochas is running an "all-inclusive" govt. . .sharing d money among every Imo family (work or no work). Both are bad! Sole administration in Osun and Chop-I-Chop admin in Imo. . .appalling even though both of them seem to be performing. I guess they just know how to be in d news. cool

A word for Owelle, orga, u can NEVER please everybody, no mata how u try!!! Quit dis compensation game. . .u still hav 2nd tenure to go 4 ooo
