The Bible has already gone through many so called updates, and further updates would be a rewrite and allow devious people to remove what they dislike and insert what they do like.


And op, the Bible is not the oldest book in the world! Long before people started writing on anything resembling a book or paper, some were writing books on stone, and there are even many books on things resembling paper that predated the Bible by centuries. Some are even quoted in the Bible which shows they predate the Bible itself.

Your Bible is simply a compendium of books written by different authors over different time periods, all as a way to convey their individual message regarding God and the things of God to those who will listen.

To suggest the book needs updating is to reveal stack ignorance of what is in fact contained in the pages of the book.

Of course there should be an UPDATE but it's man's understanding of the Bible that needs to be updated not the Bible itself because the Bible is God's word!

Yes so many contradictions. God did not create religious is man made so as the Bible . Those Bible authors wrote Bible based on their feelings and beliefs as at the time the Bible were recoded. That’s why so many changes are unfolding in the religious practices. Example; Things condemned by churches in the past are been use by them now.

I can guarantee you that the contradictions you perceive are instead born of your lack of understanding of what is in fact contained and the context to which it ought to be applied. If you are up for it, you can open another thread to highlight these contradictions and I will show you what I mean.

2. Sure, religion is born of man as nowhere in the entirely of what is scripture is much of what is religion today commanded by God.

For starters, you can never limit the truth (God) to a set of books.

Maybe idol worshippers thinking they serve the One True God can do that…

This may be True but it is also True and very Norma for people to consume food when they do not truly know who cooked it eg meals at wedding receptions, birthdays, corporate events, KFC, restaurants etc.

Thus, it is not wrong for them to not know Who Cooked the Bible as long as its Food is Real Good!

Faithful ones before the writing of God's word lived in fear because there was no record to confirm if what they're saying is from God or their own initiative {John 8:28-29} that's why God sent Enoch to early grave {Genesis 5:24} to prevent this good man from been killed by faithless people as he kept preaching fearlessly yet what could he present as evidence that his utterances are from God?

That's why Jesus (God's only begotten Son) always quote the Bible as authority for anyone who has faith in God {Matthew 4:4, 7, 10} note that Jesus kept quoting the Bible for Satan both of them existed before Moses who penned down those WORDS yet they both rely on what Moses penned down because that's the one and only authority for all those claiming they have faith in God.

So there is no TRUTH for any fleshy creature before the Bible that's why Jesus said:

Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth. John 17:17

God is the source of TRUTH but then if there is nothing to quote then how can two persons confirm that the words they're hearing is the TRUTH?

That's why Satan surrendered because he discovered that Jesus is 100% current when it comes to the TRUTH which is God's word known today as the Bible! Revelations 19:11-16

There are so many things that even angels in heaven don't know so they have to rely on the utterances of Jesus' disciples who has been BORN AGAIN as God's Children {John 1:11-12} for instance most angel only knew Jesus as a great commander back in heaven {Mark 1:24} but when it comes to the voice they often hear from the throne they don't know that Jesus is the one transmitting it to them not until after John the Apostle has been baptized with God's Holy Spirit and penned down those words we now read in the Bible book of John 1:1 which says:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

That's the time they realized that Jesus' voice has been what they're hearing all these while and that's the same voice all servants of God writing the Bible has been hearing all along.

So by the time Jesus himself came to the earth as human and another voice spoke from heaven all the angels now feared the Christians. WHY? Because they discovered that it's only from this people that they can know the TRUTH about so many things they never understood from creation until now!

It was revealed to them that they were ministering, not to themselves, but to you, regarding what has now been announced to you by those who declared the good news to you with holy spirit sent from heaven. Into these very things, angels are desiring to peer. 1Peter 1:12

So if angels who existed before humans, lived with God in heaven and behold His glory must learn the TRUTH from the mouth of humans who are disciples of Christ Jesus then is there TRUTH before the Bible?

The topic is not about God but TRUTH about God and what is happening both in heaven and on earth. There are three ways God reveal Himself to mankind:
Through creation, words and actions but then we can't perfectly read His Actions or Creation that's why we need His WORD (BIBLE) God arranged this book so that when we fail to get the information passed through action we can go back to find the absolute TRUTH through studying His WORD BIBLE!

Sadist, why are you then basing your life on the feelings and beliefs of unknown men?
And as you said the books inside the New Testament and Old Testament was written in different centuries, each century adding their own feelings and beliefs, why can’t this century also add their own feelings and beliefs?
We know that the earliest book in the New Testament called mark never made mentioned of any iesus chrestus rising from death after 3 days, it was later added in the coming century.

God is for ORDERLINESS and not confusion {1Corinthians 14:33} that's why He never said what is written in the Bible book of Revelation 22:18-19 in the LAST BOOK of the Bible, you can't find such in any book. In fact before God concluded His words with the Jewish prophet named Malachi He made it clear to this prophet that messages are still coming through another prophet who will come in the manner of Elijah! Malachi 4:5
This means the TRUTH is yet to complete until the Messiah has come and gone.
Before Jesus left the earth he declared that he still has many things concerning the TRUTH to tell his disciples but they can't bear it all within the allotted time! John 16:12-13

It's this same Jesus who declared in the LAST BOOK of the Bible that there shouldn't be any ADDITION or SUBTRACTION! Revelations 22:18-19

Of course any intelligent reader supposed to know that all messages regarding the TRUTH has been completed. In fact Apostle Paul made it clear to everyone that all visions, prophecies and dreams are never complete but part of the TRUTH {1Corinthians 13:8-10} until Jesus finally declared that it's now complete with the Revelations in this book of books known as the BIBLE!
