cap28: Look i don't believe in your Anti-west sentiments. The problem with Africa is from Africans. Do you also want to blame the West for Zimbabwe crisis. If Gaddafi is actually the good man that you preach . How come Libya has no other leader for the past 40 years, instead him and his Son were ruling. |

emmatok: you dont understand anything about the world, neither do you understand that almost all african countries, with the exception of libya and zimbabwer are under western control - western banks and multinationals own and control african countries - Libya was the only african country which had never surrendered its economic and political sovereignty to the imf and the world bank, Mugabe started off as a western puppet when he agreed to allow the white racists to retain ownership of 90% of the most fertile land in zimbabwe despite the fact that they only comprised 2% of the entire population. Mugabe became the west's worst enemy the minuite he decided to take back the land from the western parasites and give it back to the rightful owners, like i said you defend and make excuses for them but they hate you, all they want from you is your land and your natural resources, they do not want your progress in life. |

emmatok: emmatok: Yes dumb Africans with an inferiority complex and think europeans are Gods. Why else would you stand up for people who killed, rapped, robbed and enslaved your people for 480 years? Then had the nerve to repeat those attrocities in the name of Colonialism? Did they compensate Africa after the crimes? How must Africa recover then tell me? emmatok: Yes! Mugabe was the original Mandela, he forgave white people and thats why they settled in his country. He simply wanted to take back some of the 70% of land stolen by whites who were around 3% of the population. He did so in a hostile manner because they were plotting to topple him politically so they could take over the country. Now if you remember all that happened was they were evicted and a few of them had a bloody nose – thats it. As a result the west took revenge on him and imposed economic sanctions. Now surely you know that economic sanctions cripple countries dont you? If he was so bad why did the Queen of England give him a Knighthood, the highest honour in England and invite hom to her palace? Zimbabwe is not resource rich so he must have been a pleasant fellow. South Africa is currently carrying out land reform; by taking land back from white farmers who STOLE it, why have the west not imposed economic sanctions? emmatok: Libya had the highest living standards in Africa before the invasion! The man had an alternative system of government – it was all in his green book; Tony blair even stole the idea from him and called it “the Third Way”. Do you think western democracy is the only form of government? Is china democratic? Has china changed leadership? He has not spent half of what the frivolous saudis spend in a month! Why not bomb them? Because they give US and England defence contracts worth tens of billions. |

cap28: Its seems that why, u also have to consider that the muslims are still observing their month of Prayer and fasting so this is a very low down dirty tactic by NATO/Rebels.but the possibility of drawing them in to cut them off from all sides by the Ghadafi forces is a strong possibility, lets watch and see, |

cap28: The rebels are NOT in control of Tripoli its all porpaganda! NATO is using phycological warfare to demoralise Gadaffi and his soldiers. They have bombed Libya for 2 days continuously! - they are desperate for victory before their money and mandate runs out. 1. why did the rebels not release a picture of Saif? 2. Insert Quote ALJAZEERA 23 min 21 sec ago - Libya Reports say Mohammad Gaddafi, son of the Libyan leader has escaped from custoday after being captured by opposition fighters yesterday. He was aided by Gaddafi loyalists. The second son escaped! and no one is talking about it! pure hypocrisy, I got it from an aljazeera blog. |
Re: Gaddafi Falls: Libyan rebels in 'final push' for capital by emmatok(m): 11:04pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
martinosi: So you think changing leader don't have improve a country. Well the U.A.E :The politics of the United Arab Emirates take place in a framework of a federal, presidential, elective monarchy. The UAE is a federation of seven absolute monarchies: the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah and Umm al-Qaiwain. The UAE government comprises three branches: the executive, legislature, and judiciary. The executive branch consists of the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Federal Supreme Council, and a Council of Ministers (the cabinet). The Federal Supreme Council is composed of the emirs of the seven emirates. It elects the president, vice president, members of the Council of Ministers, and judges of the Federal Supreme Court. The Supreme Council also formulates government policy, proposes and ratifies national laws, and ratifies treaties. |

nolongTing: thank you bro. dullard africans are so full of inferiority complex that they dont even think europeans have a case to answer with regard to the atrocities that they have committed and continue to comitt against africans. I urge these dullards to spend some time researching american and european foreign policy with regard to africa and when they find out what these people have in store for african people maybe a light might just go on in their heads. israel received billions of dollars in compensation from america and europe to compensate them for the holocaust, to date israel STILL receives $3billion a year in military aid from america excluding other financial assistance and yet dullards in africa think europe owes us nothing despite the fact that europe continues to ra.pe, pillage and plunder africa. these same dullards still cant get their heads around the fact that the europeans look upon them with nothing but contempt and disgust and are amazed at how africans continue to allow them to get away with even more atrocities. i just overheard an american white house official gloating on newsnight over the "collapse of gadaffi's regime" this individual actually went as far as saying that the takeover of libya was cheap as no americans lives were lost in the "liberation" of libya!!! what about the thousands of innocent libyan men, women and children that were massacred by NATO bombs, apache helicopters and marauding rebels? |

Re: Gaddafi Falls: Libyan rebels in 'final push' for capital by cap28: 11:36pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
nolongTing: This what i feel as well - this tactic of spreading false propaganda is a common tactic of US and british intelligence agencies. the questions you've asked are the same ones i was askign when i heard that gadaffi's son's had been captured - wouldnt you think that the first thing they would do woudl be to broadcast live video footage of the son's in captitivity? i do not watch al jazeera because it is run by a qatari billionaire who is a collaborator with the british and us intelligence agencies. definitely do not even bother with the bbc, cnn, abc and all those other media who.res. i rely on independent journalists like the guy in that link i posted, there's another independent journalist by the name of lizzie phelps - she was actually reporting from tripoli yesterday saying that the capital was completely in the hands of gadaffi's army. the whole story about gadaffi's son escaping from rebel custody is another fairy story made up by al jazeera - i dont think he was ever captuired in the first place, dont forget these are the same liars who told us gadaffi had run away to venezuela when this thing first kicked off, as for saif al islam being under house arrest - i'll beleive it when i see the footage of him in rebel custody which will never surface. |
Re: Gaddafi Falls: Libyan rebels in 'final push' for capital by emmatok(m): 11:43pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
cap28: The problem with you, is that you choose to close your eye to atrocities perpetrated by African leader on Africans. For the past 20 year African govt have been receiving, donations, loan from the west and international organisation. And what did our African leader do with those funds? Waste it off-course . And you blame the west for that. Tell me what the AU did to help the people of Somalia, Sudan and Kenya apart from sending troops . If the Chinese and Japanese were blaming the west for their problems, will they ever develop? |

cap28:SECONDED emmatok:Bolded is true and a very valid point. If you carefully read the posts, i don't think he's saying we are to blame the West for all our problems because we also have a responsibility. He's saying they have a case to answer and they very well do. Don't you think its ironic that the British Prime Minister took his time to come home when the rioting in London was outta control but broke short his holiday to head the TNC or whatever meeting and announce the troops are advancing? So this war is more important than running his country, isn't it? THERE'S MORE TO THIS NATO INVASION THAN THEY'RE TELLING US. Did you know that Libya gold reserves is approx. half that of the Uk's and that's alot considering the population difference. Do you know about Ghadaffi's gift to the third world that was started and finished without any dime from the IMF/World bank? Did you know that Libya's GDP was over $90 billion as of last year? Did you know about the killings of the black Libyans by rebels? Did you know about the excellent living standards of the Libyan people pro-NATO invasion? Did you know Libya wanted to start there own nuclear program some years ago but the "World powers" managed to get their puppets, the United Nations to stop it eventually? Did you know the West were alright to deal with Ghadaffi all these time, till they realised his great dream/plan for Africa that was hopefully gonna reduce on dependence on them? Even the bible says "Whoever goes to war at his own expense?" Indeed, the Libyans are paying for this war. You think debt ridden America love the Libyans so much to spend billions just to overthrow 1 man, no strings attached? No stakes?? Haba mana. Cameron is making cuts whilst increasing VAT and all that but can afford to go to war?? |

cap28: Exactly! those channels are there to dumb down vulnerable house ni.g.g.az like Emma, lol! the war is not over - it has just began. NATO cannot bomb Tripoli now because the so called rebels are there , i have a funny feeling they will let both sides fight to the bitter end then they will put troops in their to "liberate" the Libyans and make sure the oil dose not spill lol! Its all a game, they do not want casualties this time. |
Re: Gaddafi Falls: Libyan rebels in 'final push' for capital by emmatok(m): 12:37am On Aug 23, 2011 |
ljila: You just said the truth there, The west and Gaddafi were enemies since the 70s The West and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are enemies. But is the West friendly with Putin? NO But they(West) can't touch Putin, because he has democratic structures in-place in Russia, while he works underground. But the problem with Gaddafi is that he stubbornly held on to power, instead of creating a govt were he can be the godfather. Today even the Arab league and Most African leader are not supporting him. The-same thing Mugabe is doing in Zimbabwe. |
Re: Gaddafi Falls: Libyan rebels in 'final push' for capital by Nobody: 1:06am On Aug 23, 2011 |
simple question,if a man has been ruling Nigeria for 40 yrs,how many of you will be happy, abacha ruled for for common 5yrs and there was riot all over naija, obasanjo was looking for extra yrs and people almost went crazy,if you as Nigerians cant stand that happening in Nigeria, why would u wish same for Libyans.frankly,i don't care who got Gaddafi out of office, just glad he is gone for regardless of what he has done for his country,no country should be turned into your personal family,no leader has ruled Nigeria for half as long as Gaddafi ruled Libya,America has their faults don't get me wrong and i have not stated my support for the acts of the country but at the same time, when you have all these corrupt African leaders who never call their members to order,it only leaves a vacuum which someone else will fill like the saying"if you do not act like a parent to your child,he/she will find a parent outside and just pray that the parent found will have a positive influence on your child" any person offended by earlier comments,i tender my apology for i feel we should be able to get our points across without bitterness |
