Localemperor: The latest one in Osun is an example. Go and Google governors that lost reelection! Jonathan post election as a sitting president and it's ordinary governor that doesn't control nothing that cannot lose election! You are a joker! |

Penguin2: The problem with all this Tinubu and Atiku supporters is that they forgot it's not an era of ballot box snatching. |

Obidient4life2:Same era of no ballot box snatching was used in ekiti and Osun State where APC won ekiti and had over 320k votes in Osun State with just 20k different to PDP LP struggled to get 1k votes in Ekiti and Osun State governorship election February no far again |

PureMe01: 1st, if you’ve seen my posts you know I don’t support any of the 3 front runners. 2nd, whoever raised you are definitely dogs! Cos you obviously lack manners. And just to call people names in the name of politics. |
Re: Kwankwaso's Game Plan. by LegalWolf: 3:56pm On Dec 29, 2022 |
Localemperor: I agree with this analysis. Another angle I see it from is that Madugu would also use this as a bargaining chip if he returns to PDP. If, hypothetically, he comes third in this election with say 7 million votes. When he decamps back to PDP before 2027 or 2031, he can easily claim that he has 7 million votes in the bag and that will be a nice bargaining point to give him the presidency. But the future is going to be interesting to watch. 1 Like |

Localemperor: There’s no difference per se. Those differences exist only in our minds. Nothing at all should make Kwankwaso feel he’s too big to deputize someone who has been a governor for 8 years and an accomplished businessman. Is it because Kwankwaso was a Minister? Well, Obi was chairman of SEC. Or is it because Kwankwaso was a senator? Does it look to you like Obi wouldn’t have won a senatorial election in Anambra if he wanted to go to the senate? |
Re: Kwankwaso's Game Plan. by Penguin2: 7:45am On Dec 30, 2022 |
Dmano: That was because Buhari was contesting in 2019. No matter how influential Kwankwaso can be in the north, it is not to the level of Buhari; at least for now. But the projections people are making now is because Buhari will no longer be on the ballot in 2023. |
Re: Kwankwaso's Game Plan. by franchasng: 8:02am On Dec 30, 2022 |
jumper524:Buhari installed Ganduje, Op is right. Ganduje lost, but Buhari's men installed him just like they installed Hope Uzodinma in Imo State. Op is right with Kwankwaso's political calculations too; he is not contesting to win in 2023, in fact Kwankwaso wishes Peter Obi wins because Peter Obi winning gives him a brighter chance of becoming next President when power returns to the North and it will be for the North and for the Muslims. Tinubu winning will not brighten Kwankwaso's chances because Tinubu is a Muslim, running with a strong Northern Muslim Mafia. If Tinubu wins, Shettima will be as powerful and popular as Atiku during Obasanjo's tenure because Tinubu is not well and won't be fully in charge, it will be Tinubu's wife, Tinubu's son and GAC boys to be headed by Femi Gbajabiamila and co vs Shettima Northern alliance which will make Shettima very strong, popular and powerful that may outshine Kwankwaso's popularity in the North, which will further reduce Kwankwaso's chance of emerging in future presidential elections. But if Obi wins, Datti won't be that powerful and popular to outshine Kwankwaso's popularity in the North unlike Shettima and El Rufai if Tinubu wins. |
