Some go for the entertainment and also to beat boredom.

From all indications and permutations basedon available facts, atiku will win this election. He will win about 10 states in d north hands down. He will also win key south south states like akwaibom,delta and rivers,including Edo. He will drag d south west with tinubu based on wat I dey hear for town here. Atiku votes with tinubu in south west will be based on 50% t0 55% respctively. Atiku is winning this.

Obi should try again in 2027

Most of them are jobless and hungry and see such events as opportunities to get something for themselves.
I was once in a northern town for an NCC event and you need to see how these women, and children stormed the hall when they heard music playing from the town hall.
They probably thought we had something to offer.

And these ones were offered t-shirts, flags, danshikis and other things for branding.

If we raided, captured and sold our brethren as slaves to Arabs and whites, in exchange for mirrors, liquor, fabrics, umbrellas etc, should we be surprised if almajiris and other jobless people showed up for a rally over small gifts

You guys should forget Northern Nigeria Campaign rallies. Crowd gather mostly is Almajiries that don't even have voters card. I work in the North for years, anything you organise and they know that food or money will be shared, crowd gathering is the order of the day.
