On saturday my wife and myself were preparing for a drama presentation in church and part of the drama items is a wedding cake. we placed order for one real cake but when it came it was too small to ba a wedding cake, so i took money for my personal purse to make a dummy cake of 3,000 naira. when my wife came back i explained to her , she just started shouting that why must i do that, that she has paid for another cake , that why should i do a cake for 3,000 that is not rational that maybe im lieing that i did it for 1,ooo.

please, advice me on what to do.

Calling your spouse a lair does not come out of the blue there must be some past events where you prove to be a lair. Check it out and make amends.

That woman lacks respect. I mean what’s her business in the matter. You already made it clear to us that you collected the money from you personal pause. So if you decide to buy a cake worthN3000, N10, 000 or even one million Naira, it’s none of her business because:
1. You are the man of the house and
2. You are the owner of the money.

So I would advise you to call her and tell her to apologize to for insulting your (her husband) personality. She must know how to show some respect to you who married her.

you are wrong in the first place. when it comes to domestic/food stuffs like cake, you should have communicated with your wife. communication is important. there is nothing wrong letting your wife know hey this is what is happening and am trying to order another. then she will let you know she already ordered etc.

but you fiam, go order cake, na hungry of cake catch you reach like that? abeg let your wife handle cake matter unless she isn't around. no vex sha for her calling you liar, na you cause the wahala by not communicating.

na true you talk. it's about time couples consult each other. afterall it's something relating to food/entertainment. should have made your wife do it or at least let her know the next plan since the first plan went wrong. anyway, it's not bad if you call your wife and tell her you are sorry for making the quick decision of ordering the cake.
