Arisolama taking a loan for IVF is not a good investment decision I'll advice anyone to embark on. That is because IVF is one roller coaster ride that you cant predict its outcome even when all parameters are in order. Even after 40, you can still get pregnant via IVF. At least I have shared one of my Boss's testimony of twins@52 and also a lady I met last Dec during my antenatal that brought her daughter and 10bags of rice to celebrate with Georges staff. The lady cant be less than 60+ and thank God another nairalander was also there the day she came.
Like Safe said, use a very good hospital when you can afford it while praying for a miracle thru natural BFP (there's nothing God cannot do, blocked tubes or not). If you still want to take the loan, then I'll add that you use a back up since you're already thinking of surrogacy. that is transfering to both you and your surrogate and make sure you use someone that has given birth before to increase your chances. All the best my Sister, your case is not the worse jare so no need to feel down casted.

There is this president I know who does not use deputy or assistant to carry out his assignments. His name is JESUS. Yes you would have tried him severally and it seems he is too far or not listening, try him again and again. He is too faithful to fail. I have seen it all, the good, the bad and the ugly from dh, parents in-law, sisters/brothers in-law, friends and relatives but I have NEVER had a second thought on 'IF" I will give birth or not. Oh yes, I MUST give birth someday.You too will give birth. I read that so many people here have done IVF several times and it failed and later conceived naturally without stress. That is what only God can do. Put yourself together. Give faith a trial, don't give room to fear and anxiety. I know a woman who borrowed money from her operative for ivf, and it worked for her on first trial. God sees our heart, He knows us better than we know ourselves. If you want to borrow money for this ivf, I encourage you to do so but my dear, you must wear your solid cap of faith, no iota of doubt should be seen. Most times God expect us to take the bull by the horn. I see you coming out victorious. I see God giving you a miracle that will shock even you IJN. amen

Prayed to God for direction,DH came with ivf ideas, so we choose bridge clinic,I've know friends who came back with BFP's n BFN's from there. So we gave it a try...quite expensive,but I started treatment..take injections so tayyyyy my belly jus dey heavy me...did EC last week..19 collected..16 fertilised tomorrow is ET, I'm so excited n full of hope n fears..was told I had a 30%chance since I'm under 30...so I'm still inserting cyclogest...so far everything has being great, after tomoro I'll begin 2wks wait...hopeful for a BFP . Will keep ya'll posted. Wish me luck. Baby dust to us all.

I really think it's unfair of doctors to try to push the highest and most expensive form of treatment on patients even if the patient does not need it!

Since ur hsg report confirms patent tubes and ur husband sfa is good u can just start with inducing ur ovulation.u probably have a condition known as pros aka polycystic ovarian syndrome,it would be helpful if u start metformin now ASAP,500mg bd,and commences clomid starting from day 2 of ur next cycle.for more information,contact me abimbolamarianyakubu@yahoo.com or 08166615267. I know someone who had it, her first IVF failed then she met a doctor who sorted out the PCOS. 3 natural conception and delivery followed after.

Congratulations but you need to continue with the pessaries pls pls. Don't stop until your doctor says so. Remember this is not a natural pregnancy, so you will need the drugs to build your progesterone which comes with a natural pregnancy. That's what the pessaries do for you. Without adequate progesterone, you might miscarry the pregnancy.

My dear pls don't stop using the pessaries...Infact the stage you're now is extremely critical to the sustennace of that pregnancy..Your progesterone levels might be low which could lead to a miscarriage if you stop using it.

If you go through this thread, you'll see that the pessaries is given to almost all IVF patients which helps to boost the chances to carrying a viable pregnancy.

May your joy be full...your testimony shall be permanent in Jesus name.
