Am in Otukpo, Benue State. Nothing dey happen for my area. Banks, market and schools are close. People are going about their normal businesses. Filling stations been do graga say dem no go open in the morning but come later open.Few Okada men are busy on the road making their small small change. I have not seen anybody or group protesting. As I waka pass the local police headquater opposite First Bank in the morning, I saw officers and men been gathered in an assembly and been addressed by their local oga. I don't no what their boss is addressing them on, maybe about the protest that is expected to take place or something else. Na Otukpo, I dey report from so. |

i think there is sense in what someone said about boko haram supporting protest of fuel subsidy removal,if bokos are truly supporting it then something is fishing.from my point,i think gej remove subsidy to bring down those that sponsors d bokos since he can't call their names and expose their sins,he is indirectly freezing those people's account, but gej your plan is affecting the poor masses too.please call their names and we will be free from bokos or build refineries and you go ahead and deal with them by removing d subsidy.please lets have a rethink on what gej is doing and giv him d right advice on how to tackle d bokos.no offence |

@ Abakaliki, it seems dat nothing is going on. Everywhere is like d other day. Markets, Mech. Villages, shops, schools, etc are bustling. Every1 has adapted to d fuel subsidy removal. We all understood the need for it removal and refused to controlled by devlish oil marketers. Kudos to PHCN for uninterrupted power. It's a pity dat those who lost their lives protesting @ other parts of d country reaped what they sow. The security personnel should stay alert. All Igbos @ ugwu awusa, biko lata ulo. Anyi ga anabat ma nyere unu aka. |

The Nigerian stock exchange is open for the 'big' men to buy more shares. All international flights in and out Nigeria are operating so that the 'big' men can fly in and out. Meanwhile, even if their domestic business suffers any loss, they would claim from their insurers. Yet the 'poor' man is happy that he has helped NLC(who by the way would still collect their salary by month end) to 'shut' down Nigeria. And you wonder why the rich gets richer while the poor gets poorer in Nigeria. |

In Kaduna, the strike action is very successful. Protesters came out in their hundreds (if not thousands) and converged at the NLC secretariat. The protesters are also at the government house to protest. All shops, banks, etc remain closed. No violence. very co-ordinated protest. The mobile policemen are on stand-by. The main city from government house down to the general market is full of protesters. Welcome to a New Nigeria |
