Besides d civil is a historic event which is open to numerous interpretations by different parties. The world war 2 for ex. So if d biafra war concept has been lyin idle for a while and a foreign company comes along to make a movie outta it, they have a right cast whoever they think will make it work critically and financially. yes, the arabs also practised enslavement of africans but no where as cruel and dehumanising as european chattel slavery which regarded african people as property.  Africans taht were enslaved by arabs were able to marry and their children were born free, unlike european chattel slavery which was permanent and inherited, denied blacks their rightss and was used purely to enrich white western powers and develop their economies.
