Civilians need to hit Aso Rock. That's why politicians are not taking anything seriously. Boko Haram are killing innocent civilians left and right, bombing churches, police quarters, and now universities. Wetin concern PDP or GEJ and him cabinet? They haven't been effected one bit. Bomb Aso Rock with KLC (kerosene, lighter, and cloth). Make their eye shine small. GEJ go deliver 9pm speech by 6:30pm that day. 2 Likes |

Hausa people sponsor sporadic shootings here and there in the name of Boko Haram, its just like the IGP said, they are criminals and should not be glorified with the name "Terrorist" Properties worth 80m Naira are being sold for 400 thousand and no one is ready to buy it, the North is a desert of industry as we speak. So who loses ? We know the truth, education, wealth, knowledge and industry lies in the South. North, will not be in power for the next 16 yrs, let them kill each other. |

As usual we will all talk talk talk....but no one will take action. The people that are ruling us cannot do anything, since they know how much is coming in for them. Hence, no amount of talk will make them take any action. They will continue to manage the situation while innocent soul are being lost. What amazes me is the callousness of the people behind Boko Haram, and is an evident there is silent war against Xtians and Southerners. And unfortunately, our so call leaders from the both SW,SE,SS are self centered bunch that are not bold enough to figure out how to protect their own. |

The Boko Haram theory Boko Haram, at the time of formation was a potentially dangerous group. As it gained popularity, the PDP realized it could be instrumental to its political success in some parts of the north.Boko Haram was used in the 2007 elections and were given certain promises by the Yar'adua Government. In 2009, there was a crackdown against boko haram as a result of the growing tension between them and the PDP government.Yusuf(the leader of Boko haram) and his men were going to spill the secret due to the non-fulfilment of the promises made to them by PDP. This was not allowed to happen as Yusuf and his men were summarilly executed following orders from president Yar'adua..At this point the weakened Boko haram was forced into hibernation. President Yar'adua died in May 2010. According to PDP arrangement, the north still had a few years to rule the country before it gets to the turn of other regions. This causes a division in the party, and Jonathan who was Yar'adua's vice president, a man from the South South region was favoured by some party top-shots including former President Obasanjo. Jonathan becomes president and now an aggrieved group of Northern elders will seek a revenge. They will require the services of a betrayed friend of the PDP.Boko Haram quickly comes to mind.Suddenly, the near extinct Boko Haram is resuscitated, becomes well funded and equiped. But what would be its aim? What would it fight for. It would avenge the killing of its leader and members by attacking the security forces and christians responsible. This is to hide the intentions of those really behind the uprising. The NSA and his boss know about this. They know who is behind all these and having held secret talks with them, they agreed all this will end by June. And so the unperturbed president could boldly make this proclamation in far away Korea. This is my Boko Haram Theory. Pass it on if it makes sense to you. Anonymous. 2 Likes |

I am not surprised by the carnage spreading. I foresaw it. As events unfold,it is very much likely to continue in the months to come if concrete steps in curbing the menace is not taken and implemented fast. Hey Mr President, your authority has been undermined. Nigeria is on the verge of anarchy. You have been proven worthless by your detractors and no amount of speech you give can redeem you. Your speeches and condolences have become mere platitudes.Innocent people are sent to their untimely death by these barbarians without spirits because of your incompetence and lack of definite decision. For your information, there is an ongoing genocidal mentality brewing amongst ordinary Nigerians from words being uttered in the streets which should be urgently curtailed before things gets out of hand. We cannot afford another Rwanda in Africa. Act swiftly Mr President or have your conscience tainted forever. Besides, whats up with all these private security firms springing up in Abuja? |

Complacency in Nigerians is the biggest problem Nigeria faces. There won't be any change if everyone remains tolerant. GEJ/PDP/Aso Rock are due for wake up calls. Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya didn't revolt due to complacency. They were angry enough to want change, so they went out and grabbed change by the balls. I hope Nigeria will get angry enough in my lifetime. 1 Like |

CyberG: THIS GUY QUOTES PARABLES AND IMPLIES SENSELESS ASSUMPTIONS. NIGERIANS HAVE BEEN FAILED BY PEOPLE FROM THE PAST AND PRESENT. WE HAVE NOT FAILED ANY OF OUR RULERS. RATHER, WE HAVE FAILED EACH OTHER. THE RULERS PERSISTENTLY CONTINUE TO FAIL US. THUS, KNOWING WE CANNOT FAIL OUR RULERS, WE RESORT TO FAILING EACH OTHER. THIS IS WHAT WE CONTINUE TO DO WHILE OUR SO-CALLED RULERS CONTINUE TO ABUSE THEIR POWER AND OUR RIGHTS. UNFORTUNATELY, SUCH IS THE NORM IN NIGERIA. WE CONTINUE TO SETTLE OUR SCORES WITH EACH OTHER WE HAVE RIDICULOUSLY FAILED TO FIGHT THE POWER. THIS GIVES RISE TO MORE COVERT ABUSE OF POWER BY OUR LEADERS. IT'S TIME WE SETTLED OUR CIVIL DIFFERENCES. WE NEED POLITICAL AWARENESS IN NIGERIA! 1 Like |

THEY ONLY ADMIT TO MINOR WRONGDOINGS WHICH CAN EASILY BE SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET. NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE OR WHERE YOU ARE IN NIGERIA, WE ALL SHARE THE SAME PROBLEMS - OUR COMPLACENCY AND OUR LACK OF APPREHENSION. WE CONTINUE TO WALLOW IN PITY - MORE SO AS TIME GOES BY.
