4evergod3: how does he intend saving nigeria? By trying to turn SNG political, by standing by buhari as his supporters go wild. Even if the bribery was masterminded by GEJ, did he also force farouk to take the money. Its just that whatever happens in this country we always find it convenient to blame GEJ. |

Bakare was popular when all this started, but gradually,we are sieving his worth and finding him wantng on a scale of 1 to 10, shame. I go to church every other day, I hear my bishops talk and lead us in prayers for this nation and her leaders, I feel their pains and grief at the folly our brothers from the north are engaging their spare times in. We cry together and pray for those who want blood to be our water and cadavers to become our neighbours,we pray for the president to be guided by divine hands, to take the right decisions and implement the right policies because we want him to succeed, and what do we get from a so called religious leader who is supposed to read his bible very well and know that God instructed us to pray for those in positions of authority. Bakare, just go and re examine youself,lo see whether you still stand 'Lest, you fall when thou thinkest that thou standest" because I don't wan2 say shame on you, but do not fan the embers of destruction, and let not your hands wield the sword that destroyest thee,Amen. When you talk of masterminding an issue, the briber and the shameful receiver are still alive and no word has been uttered by them to the effect that they were both puppets or remote controlled by GEJ. Corruption is a thing that is becoming genetic on some of you so called leaders, because someone like you who chose to see Farogue been set up to divert attention from the subsidy probe does not see anything wrong in him setting himself up to persistently ask fr and collect the video taped bribe. Maybe you are one of the people the crook wrote a letter to before he collected the bribe. Learn to join issues very well without politicising them or allowing your holier than thou stance and ver zealousness to tamper with your God given cognitive senses. We have seen your lot before, people that make us believe, only to give us political nollywood or is it bollywood? The self acclaimed saint of the lower house was such, and so many like you,but when breeze blow,na im we dey see all dem fowl yanshi. Let us not call for high profile gospel ministers to be probed,am sure EFCC will not spare you and your type. 1 Like |

ballabriggs: Such restructuring would require 2/3 of the states houses of assemble to pass it, and 2/3 of the senate, with the core north and SW..in favour of the status quo, he has to try a different but longer route.... It is very clear to anybody that the main source of curruption is that people feel oil is free for all, but changing this perception is a different kettle of fish...especially when we have people like bakare who are ready to do anything for it, including abandoning thier callings and play politics while christains are being killed |

DaLover: you tell me if it was created from thin air; what sister agencies do they rely on? I doubt you even know scope of DHS and its sub agencies, because if you did, you will know they don't rely on any sister agency when it comes to Domestic matters, in fact other agencies such as local enforcement agencies, FBI etc depend on them from security information, drills etc |
Re: Jonathan's Destiny Is To Bankrupt Nigeria - Bakare by dedeike: 6:40pm On Jun 19, 2012 |
It's unfortunate how Bakare dabbles into the fray over issues he's not conversant with. I have utmost respect for him as a man of God but unfortunately he's loosing it. The bible says touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. But this prophet is really causing harm and telling lies about other sons of God. At a time like this, other Christian Leaders are praying and condemning the evil attacks on Christians in the north while Bakare is politicizing this evil. We know he has political affiliations with Buhari- the cult hero of book haram insurgents in the north but he should not let this affiliation beclouded his sense of reasoning. Chris Okotie doesn't behave this way. He should learn from chris. Why on earth should he blame Gej for Farouk's ordeal? Did Gej drag facrrok at gun point to Otedola's house where he was shamefully stuffing dollars in caps and pants? The call log indicates that Farouk initiated several calls across to Otedola, Is it still Gej that was forcing him to call Otedola to demand for bribe? I had expected Bakare to come out as a true man of God and commend Gej for detailing the IG of police to make necessary arrest and investigations on the scandal. If truly the motive of his occupy protests are not political. I don't see any Reason why he should not be happy that those corrupt politicians who feed fat with the management of subsidy either by importation or by kangaroo house committee probes are being exposed. Isn't it contradictory when we accuse Jonathan for protecting the cabal from Facrook's subsidy report when he actually sought to remove this subsidy away from the cabal in January? Who is fooling who? The greatest casualty of that subsidy withdrawal in January remains this very cabal that they say Gej " is protecting". What arrant nonsense! |

philip0906: what core issues? right now if ant bite you, na GEJ...dont you think the FG is too involved in the day to day running of your life? the country needs to be restructed so that the FG is week and states run the FG...why is this so hard to concieve? with this setup, weather the president is weak or not should not count as much as it does now. |

Re: Jonathan's Destiny Is To Bankrupt Nigeria - Bakare by Zutchy: 6:46pm On Jun 19, 2012 |
For some people who are asking what is GEJ doing let me tell you something,he who goes about the rebuilding of his house quietly and tactically, first making plans, checking to see if it tallies, calling in the experts to confirm the workability of the plan, breaking it down into phases before implementing it always does a better job than the man who says "I want to build a house, oya call that man,dig here, put that pole in there and then starts building without a plan on ground,he end up doing rubbish.GEJ is approaching the reformation of this country from the angle of someone who wants to make longstanding achievements,he is making reforms that no other govt can just come in tomorrow and change, reforms that touch the lives of every Nigerian both young and old, born and unborn,so since there is no way to go and drag him out of aso rock lets all just relax, exercise patience and see where he is headed to. |

DaLover: Na lie O, the tone at the top is not different from what it use to be, don't come here lying to us. Jona is the leader of the PDP with a majority in the states and a majority in the National Assembly too. Has he set a different tone from what it use to be in the past. It is the same tone of mediocrity, corruption and lies. From the subsidy scam, to the malabo scam to even Shell's oil spill in the Niger Delta which he said nothing about. There is no intent to depart from the past so don't come here with your smokescreen. |
