AlphaHandMaiden:

Get a plastic cup that is BPA free. Many of the popular baby product brands usually have their plastic products bpa free1.
If it is a proper-ish cup you want you can get either the doidy cup by bickiepegs or munchkin have a miracle cup that you can unscrew the cover and use as a normal cup. And when you want , leave the cover on for baby to use by him/ herself

thank you ma.although I don't know what is bpa

thank you ma.although I don't know what is bpa

It is some additive in plastic manufacture that leeches out into food and liquid contents. It is harmful for human consumption. So many baby plastics are generally made without it.

How flush is your pocket? Similac makes a good mill. Also, for yogurt, have you heard of Habib yogurt? They have shops all around, walk in and find out if it's suitable. I know it's fresh and unsweetened.
Flush is relative. . maybe if I get an idea of the price, I will then know whether my pocket is flush enough. .

I know habib and I take it a lot. ..I will ask them.. thanks a lot

*I just learnt the word "flush" as used in this context* smiley

Got my asda little angels diaper today!
Even before using it I noticed it has elastic behind it

I have used it for my son after his bath tonight and immediately I noticed that even when it's fastened on the baby, it's not tight the way molfix usually is.

Eagerly waiting to see the absorption power grin

Well for me i dont see anything wrong in travelling that long with a 7months old baby. People even do that with much younger babies...But it have to depend on the vehicle you are taking which will definitely be the ones that are very conducive and probably have AC...
since u said shes your good friend, if I were you I will try and attend as long as am hale and hearty, my dh gave the go ahead and my pocket is ok unless she's considerate enough and decides to save you and your lo the stress of going.
In case u decide to go, for a 7hrs journey, its very likely you won't be able to make it back that day...Try considering your accommodation over there that is, where u and your baby will pass the night...is it at a friends place, the bride's place, a hotel or your peeps home? Some babies don't like crowded places. And it will be good if your ds is the mummy hand bag type so that people won't be carrying him anyhow.
I just hope u get my points because am battling with sleep as am typing..

I will say maybe leave your baby and go for a couple of nights for the wedding.
The issue is not the travelling, it is whether you will have time to really participate when you are at the wedding.

Attending an event with a baby when you have no one trusted to leave him with is a big issue.

Are you going to carry him all day? And dance, help the bride as you would love to? You will get offers from people asking you to drop him so you can be a bit free, if you are not sure of them your paranoid mama mode will kick in. Also bear in mind that all your friends family members that you may know and feel uou can drop your baby with will be busy as well.

Even down to the cloth you wear will need to be considered. If you are breast feeding, then you may need something that allows easy access.... oshelenge gown is not an option !

Also rule out any shine-shine cloth with sequines and scratch lace / embellishmenrs as if you need to back or use baby carrier when baby is a sleep, alls the sequines will be poking baby's face and arms.

Also consider the sleeping arrangements at the location. Are you booking a hotel or sleeping at your friends house, if at your friends place, consider how full the house is, even to find spare wrapper or pillow is a big issue not to talk of mattress. You will need to carry your baby's sleeping gear so that at least you know he is sorted. Then you can rough it solo.

If you can drop baby with your mum or mil if they are close by. Travel with your breast bump to allow you relieve any engorgement.

Or travel with someone, may be your help or younger sister. It will help you tremendously.

Its most likely cradle cap,.

I used a little oil on it for my son, then used his comb to brush tru d site till a little is scrapped out on its own.

I did it daily, both morning and night, before a week, it all cleared up.

Traveling with a 5 week old baby is easy! At that point they aren't as active. But a 7 month old? Ah! Won't be easy. She should take ma'am Alphahandmaiden advice.

I flew with a 6 month old. It was okay. Heck, I have flown at 2 months (and the plane nearly crashed grin) and it was okay. But do you wanna be active during the wedding, because you may need someone to hold baby. If she is your very good friend (and she will appreciate the money), maybe send it and plan on visiting her in a month's time (October has a public holiday, so 3 day weekend).
