I want to share a discovery that's working absolutely well for my wife.

Seven weeks ago, I hired a cab to go check my wife & baby at the hospital. I got into conversation with the cab driver(an old Indian man) and he got to know that I'm a new father. He started giving me advice on baby care. He advised that my wife eats lots of tripe (shaki) for milk production. This we tried and the results are amazing. The milk pours shortly after she finishes eating. I would advise mothers with lactating issues try this and come back here to share the results. I hope it works for you. Remain blessed

@ayolight, so sorry abt wot u may b going thru.I think ur baby has failure to thrive.Wen did u start noticing d inability to add weight? wot was birth weight?is he holding his neck and sitting yet?apart frm failure to add wt, is he otherwise normal? does he tire easily? was his heart checked at d hospital? sorry for d plenty questions.In all, u need to c a good paed, as sm1 suggested, u cn go to luth, they hv diff specialists there.Please STOP d herbal meds for nw(at least u ve used them for sometym to no avail).May God wipe away ur tears

ve been to the hospital to see peadiatrician at federal medical centre. wat dey keep on tellin me is dat my baby is malnourished. u knw hw it feels to be given dis kind of judgement wen u re tryin ur best? my sisters i don tire. last week, i rushed he 2 d nearest general hosp she was admitted, and d nurses and docttor were like madam u dnt take care of dis baby well. i felt like dying. those harsh words almost kill me. jst tnk Good for my hubby. pls i jst need ur prayers and suggestions as well as encouragements. tnks to u all

Pls change hospitals if they haven't been able to prefer any sensible solution. It's always good to get a second opinion Anyways. If you can afford check out premier or reddington. They also have good pediatricians there

Go and check her weight first and compare it to the percentile charts for her age. People generally like fat chubby babies in Nigeria so make sure it's below medical average first.
The sizing of cloths are also off sometimes do it's not the best benchmark

Please wait o. Even if the outside wound has healed, the wound inside will take a very long time to heal. Just take it easy for now. Don't start any serious stomach exercise or tying your stomach until your doctor says its okay to start which is usually after like 3/4 months. Instead, eat healthy, go for walks, do other exercises.

My friend almost died from tying her stomach after one week of CS. She had to go for another operation.

been a while i drop comments as i just browse through the page and read. i had to comment because of ur post, from your description, what your baby is suffering from is not mal-nutrition. i can deduce whats happening to her from your post but i wouldn't want to scare you. an urgent test has to be carried out ASAP. which state are you based so that i can direct you to a good and experienced consultant pead...

pls go and weigh her, then compare wt expected wt at dat age.Are u and ur hubby on d big side? As long as she feeds well, and her weight s within d expected for her age, pls do not worry

I rily feel for u, its well can u feed her every 3hours?? My son doesn't eat much soon I feed him lyk 5tyms a day.pls also try anodar hospital.

So true.as long as her weight is OK nd shes healthy den no problem.some babies are naturally slim, just like me

Happynewmonth to u mothers,pls I nid ur help again,av bought gerber rice cereal for my 5month(by nov 9) old boy,I used my breastmilk to make d first meal and I dnt enjoy expressin d milk,its painful so I nid suggestion for milk,a frnd said I can mix it wt NaN2 but how do I know d appropriate measurement *sigh*...PLS MOTHER HELP ME.

Nan2 is from 6 months. Get nan1 . As regards measurement, check the can. Since its in addition to a meal, I think it's more of your instinct.

is anything wrong with 7.5? mine weighed 7.9 though he had measles that made him loose weight

Hello mothers in the house. Pls I need advice o. My sis 3 month old has episodes of all night crying. For no reason. The paed thought it could be colic after checking her. Do should b.feed, burp well and back her till she sleeps. At 3 months colic begins to wind down so hang in there. By next wk you should begin to see changes except urs something else

Sorry dear, I remember last month, my baby passed out faeces more than 4 times a day and she is 8months, my MIL says it was teething, but believe you, irrespective of whatever may be the cause, the first thing to look for is a solution to stop the poo, even as adult, using the toilet 4 times a day can affect one. I had to call my brother( who is also my doctor) immediately and he prescribed augmentin and flagyl, and it stopped the second day. Lo and behold, my baby that has been moody before started playing again.
Meanwhile, you can still buy those cheap diapers pending the time the poo will stop.

pls at what measure did u use flagly,my baby has been pooping since last week,pead told me to use ORS and ZINC still no effect .thankx
