Tnx Sooo much. I have one other funny wahala o, please I unknowingly got used to breastfeeding with my right Breast and now the size of that one is times 2 or 3 the left Breast. It's even obvious when I put on clothes.

I have tried feeding my baby with the left one but it seems milk doesn't come out. How do I get both Breast equal again.

I go soon resume work, can't imagine going with two unequal sized Breast o.

Mamas. My baby has fever since 3 days now but its been subsiding. Been to the hospital and was given antimalaria and zinnat. This morning he started pooing and i'm giving him ors.
Some people say he's teething. My baby that used to eat all kinds of solids now prefers only breastmilk. He would throw up his cereal if i force him.
Now he's been sleeping a lot. Pls wat do i do. How would take for this teething phase to pass for the tooth to sprout cos i'm not seeing any sign of teeth here.

dnt be worried. It cud b teething as it makes some children not to eat. Kip breastfeeding him, if dts what he wants. U cud use ibrupofen for d fever and wet towel him often

pls stop using silverbird directly on babies' scalp. It's very powerful . U can mix a lil qty with his oil. I knew that thng is powerful the day i used it myself when i had catarh. God! a lil drop on a towel was felt deep inside when i inhaled it.
U can also rub few drops on his clothes for him to inhale not having direct contact with his skin o.

@Firstimer,don't worry,he will gradually recover his appetite.My baby also pass tru dis same process but is fine now.If dey didn't include any multivitamin,u can get abidec 4 him.Hope he gets well soon.

Please, can I start using pacifier fr my 5weeks plus baby..
She suckles on her bedspread or on her cloth even when I have fed her till she's full to the brim.
I noticed she doesn't like an empty mouth to bed,hence I have to feed until she sleeps off while suckling.
It isn't convinient @ all cos my back aches so bad now cos I have to sit up for hours...

ok. Dnt worry, it will grow back. Like eniola said, dnt apply directly and kp using the shea butter. My child had his hair chopped off too but it was due to alefo dt was I asked if it was rashes like.

Frisolac rice cereals is frm 6months. U can use gerber rice cereals instead or cow and gate creamy poriage or fruity poraige. They can be used from 4months

good day mummies in the house, hope we r all doing great. pls mummies my baby is 10months n since birth we ve battling with cold (cough n cattarrh) it goes n comes, i ve bn so frequent in d hospital as if its my bedroom,. 4wks weeks ago she had it again n d doctor prescribed drugs n after using it the cattarrh actually stoped but d cough is still there. and the most annoying part is that she coughs more at night(mid-night). pls mummies what do i do, i m tired of visiting the hospital. i remember an incident where i had to take her to the hospital n one of the nurses said " madam no kill urself o" though i ignored her sha because if i answer her, she go cry sure.

Dear sis,pls always confirm tins anybody tells u from nurses or experienced mamas before administering, silver bird is very powerful... Avoid direct contact wit baby's skin,mix one cover of silverbird oil wit a full baby oil or olive oil,it depends on d one u are using..... u can also rub some on his or her cloth so DAT she can inhale it from there. Also burp ur baby well and put her to sleep on her tummy. Make sure her head is firm on the bed. Trust me u would be more than grateful cos she will sleep well. Then if she makes any sound or wants to cry turn her to her back. She isprobably tired of sleepingon hertummy. Watchher for some time. She might sleep backornot. Then u will know what to do. Sleeping on d tummy also helps reduce gassiness. Evenif urbaby doesn't burp ucan still put heer on her tummy. She will burp while slepping.nva put urbaby on her back if she hasn't burped.
I am a first timemom but my baby has taught me a lot and I am still learning. My mother in law even calls me to tell her what he wants once he starts acting up.

take pap a lot, drink hot/warm water, eat hot yam flour(amala) with ewedu and rest well if u av d chance it increases milk production. Hope it helps. Rgds to LO

I was drinking pap alot. Even taking hot water. Breast milk was a problem. But milk nd milo made me to be leaking sef. Now I hv to stop. Will go bk to d pap. I hated d pap cos de say drink it without sugar

Wen my sis baby had cough n cattarrh, d doc just told her 2 continue breastfeeding n dat it ll go on its own. Sometimes dis drugs given 2 infant reduces dia immune 2 d ailment, it might cure it @ 1st bt later ur baby becomes resistant 2 d drugs. Wat I do is use hot water 2 press her nose n rub ori on her nose n neck n it goes on its own. I tink our weather here, d dust also makes our los get d cough n cattarrh frequently. I feel u cos its mostly @ nite wen d baby is settling down 2 sleep dat d cough becomes serious. Just rub ori on his neck den, myb he ll settle. Oda mamas pls ur opinions.

Welcome!!

Some mothers use glycerin to clean it while some other mothers just leave it cuz it clears on its own.

If it's just the tongue...you can leave it like that. It will clear.

But as you are saying it is on the upper gum area...you have to eliminate the possibility of trush.

Different strokes for different folks. Pap works great for me. Some ppl tea does d magic. Try taking pap with honey. That's how I take it. Take a lot.drink.like water ,d rest well. U can take egusi. Infact prepare it with ogiri. It also helps with colic. Still ate it last nyt with semo mayb that's y my baby wants to suck out all my breast tissues sef. U can also put egusi in ur ewedu
