If you want a good hospital in festac,use the mother and child hospital at first gate,they are very very good or you use Navy town hospital,if its not too far.

If you can get original shea butter....mix in some quantity of ABF cream. It works wonders....at least for all d babies i've seen. The ABF is in a tube like funbact-a.
You can also use pure coconut oil......although it makes light skinned people dark.

Breastfeeding helps with d tummy too

Want to ask about breast pads. I bough Avent disposable (6 in a park) but I realised that it is probably not absorbentenough for me or maybe I am the one leaking too much. My bra and cloth still gets wet and I mean super wet on the other breast once my baby is sucking. This is highly embarrassing especially now that I have started going out.

Any suggestions as to good breast pads? I have not tried the disposables though cos I think its an expensive option in the long run.

A friend advised that I put pressure on the second breast, it hasn't stopped serious leaking the few times I tried it.

I use tommy tipee disposable pads. Applying pressure using d opp hand also works for me

Sorry for bothering you but do I need a sitbath since I didn't have a vagina delivery? Tho I had a long labor and my cervix was well dilated. My sis said to do it so I won't b farting frm d "vajajay" lol

Well, to my knowledge I believe they mean 4-5 spoon of d already mixed milk.

I don't see any use for a sitzbath after a CS since there was no cut in the vagina. I didn't do one. Even with a vaginal delivery with the type of materials used for suture sitzbath is not advisable cos the suture can break and lead to open wound.

Honey is not good for infants until they are over 12 months old, it causes allergy.

Give him cerelac for some days, then try pap again.

Yes I have the doctor says he isn't under weight that he weighs what a 2yr old should and I shouldn't bother but he just looks too skinny to me. Especially as he was chubby before. And I'm also giving him becombion it's a vitamin b syrup

If you are sure there's no underlying sickness.....then its just a phase they go through. I have a sister like that who would use 2 hrs to eat a 30 mins food....but if you see her now, shes 2 times my size.

And if your baby is like me who doesnt like real food.....try cereals...indomie....and especially tea with lots of milk. You can give him boiled egg too.....hope i helped?

I am a single too to an adorable 5 month old princess. I thank God I didn't bow to the pressure of having an abortion. That said, I started my little girl on pap aka akamu @ age 2 months (I mixed guinea corn and yellow corn) with milk depending on how many oz in the feeder and she did very well with it. I used Nan. Will start mashed local food when she is 6 months old. She already has her first two teeth.

Don't think its anything to worry about, at that age, they shed their baby fat, become very active and burn energy easily so they become quite thin.

To encourage eating, give him multi vitamins and you could let him choose the food he really feels like eating(where possible).

My daughter has not poo pooed for 3 days now. She's struggling and trying hard to bring it out but it's not coming. Aside inserting soap in her anus, what else can I do please?
