hi mamas, has anyone given her baby soyabeans without peeling?

I mistakenly blended the soyabeans without removing the back....
I fried it then put in the blender to 'de-shell', just few secs, the stuff don blend.. so I couldn't separate the shell....
I go pour the soyabeans away ni? cry any effect of the shell on baby?

Meanyl, I succeeded in doing pap today with millet, guinea corn and yellow corn. . soaked on Friday, blended and filtered today.. waiting for the water to be gone... I hope my baby takes it cheesy

Thanks to Sugah and Feddy27, your comments on going organic really motivated me...
yesterday, my baby had watermelon carrot, apple and banana. . all with milk...
today will be avocado, banana and sweet potatoes. With formula of course. ..
then we take breastmilk majorly at night. ..
and now I have taken a step to make pap grin grin
Thanks to you two, earlier before now we were having only cereal... your comments gave me the motivation I needed..
no more 'processed food' for my baby by God's grace grin grin

ok, make una answer me on my soyabeans issue abeg... We're 7 months +

I don't think it has any effect. He can still take it, I have realised that nothing in life goes to waste, anything u remove can always be used to make another thing

Mamas little help here, d front hairline of my baby is chopping embarassed embarassed any suggestions on why n wat to do?
I wash her hair twice a week...evry other part is growing very well but I just noticed d front is chopping more n more by d day.... HellepMeOhh

Thankss

Hi eribooboo... sometimes the reason why their hair chops is from excessive dryness. And washing the hair too often contributes to this. Try limiting wash with soap to once a week. You can wet other days. Then shea butter/coconut oil to massage the scalp. That will help stimulate growth.

Are you on instagram? Check out @munaandluchi Lots of helpful tips. The edges usually chop first because they are more sensitive

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

If you check back some pages, some mamas listed what has worked for them. Personally, Dove soap and E45 moisturizer works for us.

Thanks a lot. Mine has a button called baby care , can I use that one too?

Baby care on my LG machine washes at high temperature and washing time is usually like 2hours so I use quick wash, but before it starts rinsing, I switch over to medic rinse

Lunch is served:
Sweet potatoes + sweet corn+ carrot + chicken + Titus fish. So yummy!

Tip for mothers going this organic route and looking to buy a different blender for baby food, please invest in a hand blender! It saves lives grin and time. Iv used both normal blender and hand blender and I can tell you the difference is clear.

I so agree with you!, like 2 years ago i had gotten the nuby babyfood blender/ steamer set for a friend and was thinking of getting one for myself, but no space to put it so i started looking at all the gadgets i currently own! and voila, gathering dust at the back of my cupboard was my hand blender.

It is ideal for small quantities. you can easily blend / purree one or two portions to a very smooth consistency, you don not need to add to much liquid and you do not need to fill it till half for it to blend well.

when i discovered it, the way i felt ehn! you will think i discovers a pot of gold in my backyard! grin

all i use is my largest mug with high sides with a piece of kitchen towel over the top of the mug to reduce splashes..... Done! grin
