He should first of all thank the guy for the job offer and hand him over the letter instantly. And as the wife, he should either leave the house for her or take her to her parents. This is so pathetic even thought it happens almost everyday in our society.

He should blame no one, but himself: Women are not biologically designed to be the bread winners. If you put them in that role they will gravitate towards a man that can provide for them... financially, and then of course, that invariably always leads to sex. How can a human being even remain unemployed for 6 years ?? He was really asking for it. What a lazy a** !
