Sorry guys. The states that were called today were kaduna, nassarawa, niger and fct only. No plateau state. As for kd which i come from, 26 pple are on their list but only 21 showed up. First we started with documentation, they asked for our original credentials for sighting purposes. We submitted 2 photocopies to them which was inserted in a file that was opened for everyone. Afta that we went for an hour break. Afta d break we were matched to their clinic were they measured our height, weight nd chest. After that were sat and waited for the interview proper. 7 interviewers were in d room, while 10 of us were also facing d panel. They started with d first person then to d last asking questions like: Tell us about your self. What do u tink you can offer efcc. Questions about ones discipline etc. They started d interview with kd, then niger will follow, then nassarawa nd fct will be last for d interview. They thank us for coming nd wished us luck.

Had my interview today. Kaduna state.

I heard dat after the training, u will be made ti sign an undertaking that u will not marry 4 d first 2 years of the job. And that they own u during dat period with some restrictions. Only after d 2year bond that u will be allowed ur total freedom nd then u can get married. Please can anyone with good info verify this? Thanks

Those of you going to Kaduna for the first time should be careful though. Don't go and lodge in every hotel. I served in Kaduna some few years back, so I should know.

Kaduna is thinly divided between Christian areas and Muslim areas. Staying in some places that the other religion dominates might not really be a good choice if you are not of the religion.

My advice is, if you don't really know the town, it's better to just manage the accommodation that will be provided. After all, it's only for two days. But if you can't, then be careful while at it.

Guy their is no accommodation at police college. some guys that went their to pass the night were bluntly turned back by d policemen on guard duty saying they do know anything abt giving accommodation to any EFCC applicants. So find someone to stay with or lodge in hostels. Dont DEPEND on police college. I was their

Every stage has its elimination round. But mostly height, weight i.e BMI, BP,, tatoo, eye, etc has pple that dint pass to continue with other stages

Out of over 200+ DS applicants from fct, kaduna and zamfara that did d medicals. Only less than 120 or their abt remained afta all d elimination stages. We await the interview. And please guys if uv not done urs prepare ur owb accommodation because police college guys said no place to sleep o. So find alternatives. And prepare for operation show ur testicles. And also dry fasting becoz of the blood n sugar level test

Am wondering whether its a must to crash at d police college accommodation they provided if u have an alternative accommodation u prefer

Professor Umaru Shehu is a Nigerian Professor of Medicine and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a Professor Emeritus, Community health, University of Maiduguri and former President of the Nigerian Academy of Science. Professor Umaru received a Bachelor of Medicine degree, MBBS from the University of London. He also received a fellowship of the Institute of Cancer Research and he is the editor-in-chief of the British Medical Journal.

Full History:

Professor Umaru Shehu was born on December 8, 1930 in Maiduguri, Nigeria. He attended Elementary School, Maiduguri 1935-1940; Middle School, Maiduguri 1941-1943; Kaduna College, Kaduna 1944-1947; University College Ibadan 1948-1953; and was at the University of Liverpool between 1953-1956, and 1966-1967. Professor Shehu holds MBBS (London), IRCF (London), MRCS (England), DPH (Liverpool), FMCPH, MFCM, FFCM (UK), FFCM (Nigeria), FAS, FWACP, DFMC (Nigeria).

Professor Shehu started working as a Pre-registration House Surgeon, Southport Infirmary, United Kingdom in 1957. He came back to the Government of Northern Nigeria as Pre-registration House Physician that same year, and was promoted Medical Officer 1957-1963; Senior Medical Officer 1963-1965; Principal Medical Officer 1965-1966; Assistant Chief Medical Officer 1966-1967; Chief Medical Officer (Preventive Services Division) 1967-1968.

Professor Shehu was then redeployed to North-Eastern State as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Chief Medical Officer, an offer he declined only to move on to Ahmadu Bello University to take up appointment as Reader and Acting Head of Department of Community Medicine 1968-1970; Deputy Dean, Faculty of Medicine 1968-1970; Acting Director, Institute of Health 1969-1970; Professor of Community Medicine 1970; Head of Department of Community Medicine 1970-1978; Director, Institute of Health 1970-1977; Deputy Vice Chancellor 1975-1976; Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) 1977-1978.Professor Shehu held visiting professorships in various universities, including the School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA 1976-1977.

At Bayero University, Kano, he was Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council 1993-1996, and also Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the University of Lagos 1996-1999.He has held memberships and offices in several committees, councils, panels and commissions at both national and international levels.

He was President of Medical Schools in Africa 1973-1975; and External Examiner in Public Health at the University of Ghana Medical School. Mine was very easy and fast, was deployed to GOMBE nd we went to benue state camp to register. After registering I immediately applied for redeployment to Niger state and it was granted in less than 25mins.
