Sports / Re: Yakubu Aiyegbeni Vs Sani Kaita: Who Caused Us More Pains? by chidichris(m): 10:07am On Jun 23, 2010
What Yakubu did is no different to what Obasi did in their match with Greece. But due to Nigerian's being ethnic-mentally affected by football, they tend to think that all Northerner's are not born to play football.

@auwal87,
pls don't start as that will amount to adding salt to this fresh injury. if u are from north, i advise u to keep that secret for now and u can as well look for war forum as that is where u belong and not sports forum.
if we want to remember the northners, we can do that with ease by just understanding the importance of boko haram, abdul mutallab and finally kaita.
u do better in the jos, kaduna, bauchi and kano riots than anyother business.

amodu has reasons to laugh over our loosing and exist.
we must remember that as long as the super eagles coaching position is occupied, amodu will remain jobless so he can only be employed whenever the post is vacant.
his coaching experiences start and end with the super eagles.

My people una too like to dey blame people. Na only Nigeria loss for the World cup? No matter what let support our team sport is not always about winning but about patrotism, love and respect.

landtraza abeg shut up with that biafra nonsense, i see three hausa players in nigeria team for 2014
ahmed musa
rabiu ibrahim
haruna lukman

plus any we may find in the future. add those to okoro,azeez,nwankwo,obinna,martins,chrisantus,mikel and you can make a world class attacking team

@12large,
u are on ur own. 2014, we will appear in the world cup as biafra because we are going to beat the nigerian side in the qualifiers.
please when next u are creating such list above, remember to keep huasas, yorubas and the igbos differently because light and darkness will never be together.

why will yakubu be this wicked to us? what have we done that will make him be this mean with his own countrymen?

u are a cheat as well as a deciet.
u are an anti truth. just because ogbulafor said what pdp agreed upon, his criminal file was opened.
who in pdp does not have a criminal file well kept for days like this?
do not be decieved, nobody wants jonathan.
did u follow the anambra election and all the noise soludo made in the state with all the donations. he still failed.
u can't be too sure of that devil jonathan is working with.
apart from chasing ibori out of nigeria and voting N10b for celebration of 50yr wasteful years of independence, tell me anyother reasonable thing ur jonathan has done.
tell ur jonathan to make physical impacts on the masses and leave the jounalists out of this.
everyother past ruler of nigeria has been great on the pages of newspapers so the only way to differentiate himself will be through changing this story line.
tell ur jonathan that nigeria, nigerians and our poor lives need steady power supply.

Jonathan! jonathan !! Jonathan!!!, pls let me ppl go. divide this country so that everybody will go back to his root.
we are wasting in the hands of this ur WE.
nigerians are bored with these endless promises, nigerians are tired. pls stop decieving urself as no one believes u.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Did Not Blaspheme Jesus Christ by chidichris(m): 2:02pm On Jun 22, 2010
check out the statement below which OBJ made

‘with all due respect, if Jesus Christ could come to the world and be the chairman of INEC, any election he would conduct will be disputed’.

when jesus waz alive, his people never accepted him, the bible had a prior detail of this

OBJ was only trying to say that inasmuchas Jesus christ is most holy, his actions would not be accepted let alone a mortal
he is just comparing nigerians to pharisees,

no wonder OBJ did not give a hoot to all those dumb backside hater and some pastors calling him a blasphemer

@koolboi,
we all know obj as a careless speaker. when it comes to talking to his ppl, he is a less than an animal.
if a president cld tell his country ppl that a forthcoming election was going to be a DO OR DIE affair, what interpretation do u give to that since u are the wisest man on earth.
who among us care abt obasanjo if he does not give a hoot about us according to u?  did he give a hoot when his own son accussed him of sleeping with his daughter?
i have always known obasanjo as a very irresponsible man but in u i see a less than irresponsible beast.
what was the worth of obasanjo before he became the president of nigeria in 1999.
just mention any reasonable leader in the whole world who speaks carelessly like obasanjo.
this country does not belong to any single man and that u are previledged to be a president does not turn u to an immortal. we have had lists of men with great powers who became intoxicated along the line and we all know their ends.
the constitution of nigeria made all citizens including the accused innocent unttil they are proved otherwise but what did we see under obj/ribadu. men who came on tv to call others criminals even without going to the court.
was he using Jesus Christ in that statement to prove that he and his prof iwu's joke of 2007 was worthy to be called an election?
who among us cld call that drama an election? his prof iwu while speaking on the american's election the brought obama to power said it was ok but the americans still have things to learn from nigeria's electorial system. so what do u have to say?
be rest assured that those men were and are power drunk and cld look up to anybody and anything including Jesus so stay away from them or u will end up like them in future.
Politics / Re: The Chicken Is Coming Home To Roost For IBB :$12.4 Billion Probe Starts! by chidichris(m): 1:45pm On Jun 22, 2010
at the end of the day, this new committee will be a very good opportunity for new millionaires in our midst.
i hate pdp, i hate nigeria and i hate nigerians. we rejoice over everything and over nothing.
who is jonathan to probe ibb? if ibb was guilty, obasanjo and ribadu will have some explainations to make here telling nigerians why in all their noises over war on corruption, ibb was not invited even for one day.
again, pdp and their tools shld be able to tell nigerians the basis or style of war they are fighting over corruption.
ogbulafor committed a crime in 2001 and was not called a criminal till that day he made a comment without the consent of the cabals saying that pdp has a zoning system and such statement did not go down well with the players.
ibb committed this crime thousands of years back and has remained a saint till now that he is going to be an oposition to the jonathan led hide and seek gangs.
what and why are we rejoicing for here? in 2007, when atiku was the biggest oposition to pdp, he was made to face efcc who found him guilty over a couple of days but at the end of the election which he lost to them, non of us asked about the atiku's judgement till date.
alams, an anti third term gov was pushed to the wall but now he is back to pdp not as a criminal, rather as a great hero.
the biggest problem of nigeria today is not corruption rather it is pdp.

this poster and the abia state elders'forum are as useless as this topic.
what has spelling words has to do with his business life? if u know he does not know how to spell his name, why did u let him be ur gov? was spelling a criteria for occupying any office in nigeria?
prof. iwu who cld spell every word and even form his own did not bring in any positive thing into our system so what is the need for all these useless knowledges.
@poster,

yet they are better than the house of assembly(our so-called senators).
the major problem of the house of rep is that they are not matured enough in the sharing of their loots while our senators are very very matured as to know who gets what in every loot.
the problem in the house of rep is nothing but sharing method. that is, who gets what and how?
the looting is not the problem but the sharing of the looting.

my fear is about the club and the coach.
martins cld not succeed in inter and benitez who is the current coach does not have history of buying black players especially nigerians.
who knows, stories start a day and they can change a day.

@Moderator, I wonder why you did not apply this same LEVEL OF EFFECTIVENESS to deleting the comments by this poster and others basically INSULTING AND using profane language against others on other threads. Wonder why this thread is different from the many others out there.

@Kobojunkie,
are u accusing anyone of selective justice here? if yes, i guess u part of what the poster stands for because that is what pdp represents.

our prolems transcend the cesspool called africa's biggest party. we all need transformational mindsets. lets do things right even in our own little way, hear this, "people deserve the kind of leadership they have",

@Phlegmwash,
go take a lession on who a leader is. pacesetters are their other names.
what kind of mindset do u expect from a police man who helps a politician to carry ghana must go bags arround on daily basis? what kind of mindset do u expect from a voter who vote u in as a N20k account balance only to notice in 4 yrs time that u are among the world's richest men?
what kind of mindset do u expect from ppl whose mineral resources and tax money are used to pruchase arms in other to force them against their wills?
what kind of mindset do u expect from a family whose loved ones are killed without explainations?
mindset indeed.
a leader is that one who has powers over the behaviours of others.
they make laws, impliment them and punish law breakers. who are making our laws? the yerimas. who are implimenting these laws? the baloguns and who will punish these law breakers? our unexisting judiciaries.
if u are in lagos, the lasma are good examples of our anticipated govt laws and actions.

abacha today, abacha tomorrow. why are we not hearing news about other past presidents? is it possible that it is only abacha that stole our funds? what about all the returned funds? how has that affected the lives of common men here in nigeria?
i hate this noise abt the abachas when we have bigger criminals parading themselves as gods in nigeria.
look at the report, the nigerian govt must give ago-ahead order for any country to try their citizens on this looting madness. what a shame of a country.

Yes I had a voters card for the last election, I am not sure if it is still valid, but I will do exactly what I did the last time, That is queue up for how long it takes, register and Vote my Conscience.

The simple truth is that if you dont study, and I mean study, you will fail. And the same applies to Nigeria, if we dont try, and I mean make a real commitment to succeed we wont. We as a people have gotten too used to the easy way out, we want to cheat our way to success, it doesnt work that way.

@monkeyleg,
u are part of the reasons why we are not making any headway here in nigeria.
are u supposed to for in the animal kigdom or human kigdom?

this pdp has destroyed this nation.
Politics / Re: Ibb Or Jonathan by chidichris(m): 8:53pm On Jun 20, 2010
ibb is an evil that we all know but jonathan is an unpredictable fellow working with the criminal gangs that has made nigeria to be among the most useless countries of the world.
if jonathan is on his own, it is easy to give him a trial but with the type of ppl he is working under and with, i will go for ibb.
Politics / Re: Presidency: Northern Leaders Want Zoning Till 2047 by chidichris(m): 8:12pm On Jun 20, 2010
@bluetooth, when you said jonathan should go and form his own party, i was laughing, did you have senses at all, this was somebody that sent the former chairman packing and appoint the new one. By the way have you ever been able to form an ngo not to talk of party. Carry your ignorance to the zoo as you talk and reason like a tamed wild animal.

@seanet02,
if there is anyone carrying ignorance here, it is u. the pdp we all know believed so much on zoning till the death of yar adua.
to me, it is not only going to be geographical zoning but let it be state by state so that all of us will taste this criminal act of looting this nation dry.
jonathan is been used here in destroying and distabilizing a system. the northerners had a gift from the owner of nigeria(obasanjo) and such gift are always on 8 yrs tenure and sometimes demand for third term.
we must always learn to call a spade a spade.
the sacked pdp chairman was a very good man until the day he mentioned the zoning system in the party and a case that has been kept in the freezers since 2001 was opened.
the truth is that they are all criminals and have one or more cases pending and such cases will be opened the day their loyality to the owner of nigeria(obasanjo) becomes suspicious.
Sports / Re: Please See The Only Way Yakubu Aiyegbeni Can Ever Score A Goal! by chidichris(m): 1:08pm On Jun 20, 2010
my dear, it is not about yakubu but it is all about nff and the imbeciles they employ as coaches.
if a player is not doing well, u have ppl on the bench who can come and try their lucks.
i watch teams play and whenever the coach is not comfortable with a players'perfomance, he will replace the player.
who knows, yakubu must be doing what the coaches want from him because he was never replaced in our games.
in martins, i see a fire brand but even the 15 minutes they have resorted to is nolonger possible these days.
coaches and nff must be serious minded individuals and not what we have here - vegetables.
in everton, yakubu fights hard because it is hard for him to get a game but come back here, u will see a well assured player who has nothing to prove and no rival to be afriad of.

chidicris as of yesterday inter-milan is interested in haruna lukman
@12large,
source pls. i hope u know who the intermilan coach is? his name is not jose mourinho rather he is called benitez and if you don't mind, he just left liverpool and he came from spain and does not have any record of black players.
on the other hand, i serious pray that God will make this come through as that is the only way players get established and not playing in an unknown lands.
french league in which haruna plays, for a very long time now has been serving as a passage for great players. great players don't play in french league rather they pass through french league.
let us hope and pray that such move pulls through and i wish him the best.

u can read this. an article coming from men with football wisdom.
SUMMARY OF A SEASON: JOHN MIKEL OBI
Posted on: Sun 13 Jun 2010

It was another solid if unspectacular season for Chelsea's defensive shield, exactly what is required,

For the second season running it was unclear at the start who the manager intended to be the main deep-lying midfielder, but for the second season again, injury to Michael Essien ensured John Mikel Obi became the number one choice.

On return from the Africa Cup of Nations in February, Mikel started every game until his own knee and ankle problems in mid-April ruled him out of the season's two-trophy climax.

In the opening games, Carlo Ancelotti accommodated both Mikel and Essien, the latter playing further forward in a diamond formation, but Mikel was taken off early in the Community Shield and the league opener v Hull and he was dropped for the first away game at Sunderland, but rotated straight back in at Fulham where an uncharacteristic shot from 25 yards that flew just inches wide was as close as he came to scoring all season.

At Wigan in late September as the team's perfect start to the season ended in 3-1 defeat, the Nigerian suffered ankle damage which ruled him out for two months.

His second match back was a toughie - away in Porto against a team traditionally strong at home. Chelsea won 1-0.

'The defence is in a good moment because the midfield in front is working very well and today Mikel did a fantastic match,' Ancelotti said afterwards and retained the player for the big win at Arsenal that followed, although then left him on the bench for the first hour of defeat at Man City.

In December's run of narrow league wins and draws Mikel was involved in every game without playing a single full 90 minutes.

Nigeria were hardly favourites for the Africa Cup of Nations, having only just scraped into the World Cup at the end of qualifying a couple of months earlier, but they were a surprise package, eventually losing to an Essien-less Ghana in the semi-finals.

For Mikel there was an unfamiliar role of playmaker just behind the Nigeria strikers, more a reflection on his nation's paucity in that position than a flowering of attacking ambition in the Chelsea man. His close friend Salomon Kalou described seeing Mikel play Number 10 as 'his funniest moment of the week' on this website.

All that said, when the 23-year-old returned to Chelsea, there was a fresh impetus to his game. He enjoyed one of his best spells of form yet with enterprising long passing in evidence - culminating in a wonderful assist for Didier Drogba to score at Portsmouth. John Terry's celebration with Mikel left no-one in any doubt that the captain admired the pass.

At home to Arsenal in February he played his 150th Chelsea game and by the end of the season had his first league championship winners' medal, although he missed the final three league games and the FA Cup Final. Initially injured by a Kevin Davies foul against Bolton, he broke down a week later at Tottenham, an injury that would eventually deprive him of his first World Cup.

Mikel's own on-pitch discipline problems are long behind him. He was only booked four times in a campaign spent in a highly-competitive area of the pitch.

Ancelotti has revealed he was a similar player in a similar position in his youth and predicts much to come from his player. With injuries hopefully healed over the summer, it will be fascinating to see how Mikel and Essien fit into the 2010/11 midfield.

Appearances: 35

Goals: 0

Minutes on pitch: 2,811

Ray Wilkins: 'John is a talented young man, there is no question about that, and he has had another solid season doing what he does best, which is quietly going about his job in front of the defence. We've had a lot of clean sheets this season and John has more than played his part.'

this is from the chelsea website so u know the differences.this was a product of men who sleep and wake up doing soccer.
men who have paid their dues in soccer. men who live their lives as soccer authorities

Anything can happen
Obasanjo (evil) can become a pastor tomorow, i mean a true pastor

@evil666,
even if everything happens, one thing cannot happen and that is repenting and keeping all the looted funds with him.
genuine repentance is like a wrist watch that does not need a mirrow to see.
he is only been a matured criminal he is. wasting time and waiting for the day he will be released into the free looting zone to join up with the gang once again.

Sports / Re: Lukman Haruna Vs Mikel Obi, Who Is Better? by chidichris(m): 6:52am On Jun 20, 2010
chidicris your still talking nonsense, let nigeria play 433 formation and give lukman a chance he would impress, by us playing 442 his doing a lot of defensive work and that is not his forte, he is still better than mikel rightnow he is playing average but it is only 2games mikel plays poor for chelsea for good 4 seasons. semid4life i already knew that your a bonified , your probably a mallam if you think a player that have not scored in 4 seasons is nigeria best than your crazy. the fact that lukman is not performing is because we have a goat as a coach

@12large,
mikel has scored two(2) goals for chelsea and i have told u to go to, www.chelseafc.com, look for the players and click on mikel, everything u need to know abt him will come.
goal scoring in a team is someone's job but others score when the opportunity calls.
we are not having a team because every player is doing his best to be the goal scorer.
what is 442 and what is 433?
haruna cannot play in bolton as it is now talkless of playing in arsenal and not to think of chelsea.
u are right when u said nigeria has a goat as coach otherwise haruna cannot be in a squad loosing balls like no man business.
if we had mikel against greece, all we needed when kaita got the red card was to hold on to the ball as long as possible.
mikel had the annointing to hold on to the ball and get foul from any desperate oposition player.
u need to civilize ur socce brains as they are out of fashion at the moment.

this funny cuz i remember two years back when my mom who does not watch football was passing by and noted, with annoyance, the way the same Yakubu was chewing gum during the national anthem. since primary school i was strictly tought that during the national anthem all other activities are to cease. its not such a big deal its just simple etiquette, something quite a few nigerians are not familiar with.

@kgdavid,
the other time, u told us how ur father said no to ur idea of becoming a footballer and now how ur mother who does not watch ball noticed yakubu chewing gun. is it not possible u create ids for your mother and father respectively so that we can have direct communications with them instead of this kiddies avenue u and 12large are turning here intlo.
from what u say and write here, i don't think ur brains have developed enough to engage in elder ppl's arguements.

@12large,
nigeria is such a useless country that heroes are not respected and everybody does what he or she likes not minding what the implications will be.
you entitle to ur opinion and actions so also is yakubu.
in everyother country, things like u are not recognised but hear u are worshipped so also is yakubu.
nigeria has no laws hence yakubu like everyother nigerian does what he or she wants.
posting here is not by force. get ur ass together, think of something important or related to ur life and we will know u are normal.
all these guys are in a world and class of their own. if our so called rulers who steal our funds behave anyhow they like, what more these guys who legitimately earn their livings out of individual efforts?
as for family insults, i will pretend not to have seen that and i believe that any family with ur type is coursed enough.
