care4you: He's right. The original s20 plus didnt come with android 13. If you understand how phones are marketed, you will understand that the operating system on new phones are usually the latest OS version at release time, which is android 10 for s20+. Except someone had upgraded that phone, it is not possble for it to be shipped with android 13. The fact remain that it is a refurb. It does not make it less superb of a device sha 6 Likes 1 Share |

Health / Re: 529 Foreign-Trained Doctors Failed Medical Exam – MDCN by d33types: 10:13am On Jul 24, 2023 |
jaephoenix: Thank you. This is the simple fact and a well sounded summary above. Unfortunately this explanation isn't for the common demographics on nairaland, most of who have chosen to be permanently bitter, obtuse and deliberately hateful to doctors as usual. During my 500L, my teaching hospital hosted them, and I understood how/why these FMGs struggled due to being in an unfamiliar medical terrain, and coupled with the Nigerian factor which we all know, most failed. Some of those who who failed are now near being specialists with me in the UK. I guess you took the exam as your Centre had MDCN accreditation issues? 4 Likes |

adelolo: You quoted me after 8yrs. A baby born in 2015 would have been prepping for secondary school by now. Back to the issues, sorry for the loss of your dad. Nigeria has become even worse since the initial post of 2015, and it will become worse. Private or government , healthcare will definitely follow the trend of the country. That is, you cannot get excellent health care in a shitty country. Yes, the hospital may be negligent but you have to look holistically. Nigeria is long gone and will take a radical step to correct this. I am a doctor whose graduating class has more than two third of us doing excellently well abroad. We automatically became excellent doctors abroad. But were subpar in Nigeria. Ask yourself why.. My condolences once more |

laiperi:All you have written is simply ridiculous. First of all, Nigerian doctors and UK doctors have exactly same pay, depending on years of experience. It makes it even sweeter to the Nigerians because we don't have have student loans and huge mortgages being paid back compared to the British doctors. We have been work finances than them: Fact Ooh, just so you know, there's nothing like posting based on ethnicity In the UK. |

HitlerGaddafi: Serve in a military base and you'll understand that the commissioned officers from the lieutenant to major general, all accord corpers a great deal of respect. No lieutenant will bathe corp members. Na the recruits dey mess up anyhow. Funny enough, no military personnel will ever punish you when you're on your khaki. That will be the most stupid thing to do. The uniform, like their own khaki commands respect. |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Saudi Arabia Recruitment Of Nigerian Doctors 2021 by d33types: 6:11pm On Aug 19, 2021 |
Benwems: Your point isn't true. Indian doctors are much more in UK, US and outside their countries than Nigeria. For every one Nigerian doctor in the UK, there are 10 more than 10 Indians. It's 1 to 20 in the US. Ghanaians are also moving in droves. Google will bring up these stats. |
