Did I ask you the meaning of adopting an endangered species?

Do you understand the questions I asked?

1. does he have to adopt an elephant or do his job which entails producing policies and implementing same to protect endangered species?

2. how many elephants can he adopt that will make elephants in nigeria not to be endangered species?

3. can he not do job which entails providing resources and enlightenment to communities where elephants to inform them on the need to protect these animals?

4. which money is he using to adopt this his elephant?
1. Yes it is part of his job
2. He cannot realistically adopt all elephants and this is unnecessary but the one he adopted was orphaned and would have died in the wild.
3. He can and that is what he has proposed to do in the article if you read it.
4. I am unsure, it depends on if this was done on a personal basis or on behalf of the ministry. If the former then he should use his personal funds if the latter then the ministry funds so far he has followed due process.

I am very critical of government and think they are generally doing a shitty job but I don't think he has done wrong here.

Usually 'adopting' an endangered species means keeping it in a relatively protected area till it is safe to release it to the wild.
It is actually part of his job.
If you read the write up all what you have mentioned is part of the plan.

OP stop being bias with your news writing. When a police is on scene, one is authorized to raise their hands or stand still without holding anything. She carrying a pot of hot boiling water can definitely be perceived as a weapon & attempt to attack the officer with it. He saw her as a threat, plus she told him: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." Definitely, she sounded unstable & a threat to him. Fact, racism is real, but at the same time, doing what is right at the right time is also very important.
Did you miss the part where she let go of the kettle and dropped to the ground with her hands raised? Well before she got shot.
What threat did she pose at that point

seunmsg:

Government can’t keep subsidizing everything. Air Peace is a private business and they must find a way to survive competition. Arik was flying straight to London Heathrow before they were out-priced by foreign airlines.

The only way Air Peace can survive the price war is to appeal to the sentiments of Nigerians. They must make all Nigerians see Air peace as a national brand that is serving the interest of all Nigerians and whose survival depends on the patronage of Nigerians against harsh foreign competitors.

Sadly, they mismanaged the fallout of their maiden flight by allowing Obidients ethnicize the narrative. The Igbo pushback and the massive insults against Yoruba people because some very few people on twitter suggested that the dressing of the hostess should reflect a united Nigeria identity as against an ethnic group was unnecessary. President Tinubu and Keyamo were not spared in the insult. Now, how will they change the narrative?
Did you expect them to place a gag order on Internet use

I could not bear watching to the end but I hope that was a comedy skit but if not then the level of ignorance pervading through our society is despicable.

The innocent owl is a nocturnal bird of prey that feeds on mostly rodents, and was probably attracted to your house in pursuit of food.
So please clear your house of rodents and free the innocent beautiful bird that is God's creation and a very important part of the food chain helping to keep our rodent population in check and in so doing reducing disease outbreak.

Autos / Re: Why Nigeria Switched The Driver's Seat From Right To Left by eaglechild: 11:05am On Mar 05

The first time I went to South Africa, I hired a car at the airport. I had paid and received the car key when I realized it’s a right handed car.

I summoned courage started the car, I struggled to use my left hand to position the gear for 15minutes…to compound the issue is the transmission of the car….it’s godamned manual car.
The last time I drove a manual car was in my secondary school days…and that was my mums peogeut 504.

I was in one position for 30min…then their rep came to check on me “any problem?” I said I’m cool I’m just setting my map app.

I finally fired the car, the car jumped forward, from their I entered the road like an erratic drunk driver…zooming, jerking and slowing..

Sweating inside the AC.

Then I faced the major road, their roads are tailored for right driving, I first faced one way..thank God I didn’t cause accident.

I quickly calculated that I had to be on the right.

At the end sha…I saw a ticket of 250rands on the cars screen wiper asking me to pay in 48hours..

I nearly hated South Africa because of that
Lol!
Good storytelling. Should have done a bit more research.

Nigeria made me tough, seriously, i dont even notice or bother at all but i do appreciate kindness even little kindness and surely, kind to others, by being thoughtful. If you can survive tribalism in Nigeria and religious extremism, then surely, the racism in other countries are like Childs play grin grin grin grin grin

In my experience, even the racist may change and begin to like me. grin grin grin

I dont hold their racism in my mind, because i have to think wisely. smiley smiley

I have the ability to greet people who don't answer and I seem to ignore it, it is not relevant for my living, they did not answer, and its not the end of the world, but I don't hold it against them, there is no time for drama, one should grow wisely.

All these people saying no one taught them is it manual or auto.
Auto doesn't count.
If it is manual sorry that's just a fat lie.

No wonder we have so many miscreants on the road who have absolutely no idea what basic traffic rules are.
Being able to move a car from point a to b does not equate to safe driving.
It is important to learn the fundamental rules of driving as it is such an important skill that carries a lot of responsibility with it.
It is not a juvenile show off skill and no points should go to bragging about jumping into a car and moving it.
It's irresponsible and dangerous.

EKONGKING:
I have a strong feeling that BAT will be the best ever president for Nigeria .

2 things which Nigerians conveniently left out during Dangote refinery commission ,I will mention .

Lagos is lucky as it is the capital of colonial British as well as new Nigerian government , you have ready made infrastructure .
however that does not tell full story as we have also seen many cities go dust when capital is moved to other part .

The brilliance of Tinubu comes here , He has the foresight to start Lekki free trade zone ,Eko atlantic , etc which is starting to fructify now .

Shenzhen and Guangzhou ,happened as Chinese government realized the importance of Hong Kong and benefitted from it ,by creating suitable policies as Hong Kong is saturated .

In 2000 one state chief minister (Governor) of India started a massive complex hosting only IT related services called HITECH City in Hyderabad . Then he went on massive overdrive in publicity and attracted Bill gates to come to that city ,Bill Clinton also visited in next year .

Cut forward now the city has huge campuses of GOOGLE,AMAZON,MICROSCOFT ,DELL etc employing 1 million Indians .(See you tube videos of Hyderabad) .

What i,am trying to say is Chinese and Indian politicians are attracting investments to their respective states by hard selling them and give beneficial deals via reducing VAT, Electricity cost, Land conversion charges etc .

They set cat among pigeons ,every body are competing for investment as it will create jobs ,boost revenue and for shady people enrich their wallet .

In Nigeria , no politicians wants to attract any investment ,just build a road or a bridge u will have praise Sayers saying ,the state is in gods hand .

Seriously dude .These above mentioned countries have long past the usage of roads and bridges for votes.

Account leaders for job creation as what other sensible countries are doing , not a stupid governor who commission 10 km of tarred road .

Tinubu has created Ideas for job employment and its best to take his Ideas as well as Chinese and Indian ideas instead of just Tarring a road and call the state is in GODS hand.

Stop this junk analysis.
What is the present reality?
How has his campaign appearances suggested that he is capable of governing competently?
Why is his identity marred with controversy?
Why will a president forfeit thousands of dollars for a drug charge?
We are not ready as a people to evolve.
