Romance / Re: Why Do Most MALE Childs. Wake Up At Age 35. by Hahjascho(m): 8:04pm On May 02
Akpabio22:
I've been wondering why most male child wake up at age 35. Some even wake up at 40 and regret wasting most of there time in life. Because there is a different between open eye and being awake. Some believe womanizing, doing drugs and causing violent is being awake. But I see it as just open eye. Waking up is completely different from all that. When you're awake you become very uncomfortable and finding it very difficult to sleep when you're not achieving your dream in life. You find all means to stay away from trouble because you have see how important life his. Some wasted their life and they lost relevant to be enlisted in the race of life and later found out that aged has prevent them to be enlisted in various aspects of life. My question is why is it that so many Africa male child wake up very late. Some even neglected there father and caused huge damage to the family and later regrets there actions but it's already too late to be enlisted in the race of life.
I understand your question… it’s a deep question that requires self reflection.

Now, nothing comes without a cause. The consequences of our actions and inactions usually dawn on us…sooner or later.

Indulging in some actions at the prime age has a way of clouding the reasoning. Things like addictions, lack of exposure, bad influence, womanizing, environmental factor, thuggery, alcoholism, perversion etc.

All these things seem to give temporary pleasure but deep down, limits man from reaching his core human awareness and consciousness. They make man abuse his core energy or forget he has one. Man is born to create and dominate. The goal of this is to distract man and make him waste his prime age.

Luckily, some may eventually get it right while others continue to struggle.

There’s a level of awareness and consciousness man reaches when he avoids all these distractions.

That’s my view!

Lack of home training and insensitive of the program organizer.whatever it maybe protocol must be observed. For VP to attend that funeral it's a great honor for the deceased and the immediate family.
What are you saying, what honour?

This can only be termed being insensitive. No one prays to experience how demoralising (mentally & psychological) it can be for someone to lose his parents and siblings.

Nothing else aside being hypocritical.

This talk no make sense... doctors will tell you moderate alcohol to unwind is healthy, moderate sex is healthy, no sex at all is bad for men... sometimes doing some things moderately keeps us happy and have other positive social effects.

Do you know that one of the problem of the north is the fact that they banned alcohol, most of the youths have nowhere to ease their anger, they use dangerous drugs, with makes people think negatively, while alcohol brings happiness albeit momentarily. Do you know how violent and intolerant the world will be without alcohol...those Muslim extremists are a ckear example...angry for no reason, pent up stress.
Ok sir.

Johnjustice:

You need to review your mentality of life...stop thinking everyone must think like you, life is relative, most of those dogmas and cliches you hold onto were proscribed by men like you. Free your myopic mind from being judgemental, as long as a vice doesn't affect society or you negatively, it's better you use that same energy and speak about more important things. People have habits, it's really not your business.
You feel really attacked and thereby, defensive.

I do not judge anyone but just expressing my views. Truth they say is bitter.
Nairaland / General / Re: Is It Too Late To Know How To Do This As A Young Man Like Me? by Hahjascho(m): 9:26am On Mar 09
See, you need to be genuinely interested in making friends with people. I'm not saying you have to force it or be desperate. No.

Look around you and see those with less resistance and just show u care in actions. Don't overdo it. Be consistent.

Then for now, focus and develop what you think you know how do. It could be your academics...get good results or any valuable hobby- be a star there. This aura will be around you as you are known for something.

So, collaborating with others who are getting it, won't be an issue and they won't see you as a major stress.

Also ensure you are not being wrongly influenced.

Johnjustice:
Op like someone said, moderation is key, some watch porn but not addicted to it.

Your claim that porn affects life is not true, unless the person can't control themselves, some people that watch porn every now and then, are still very successful than some who never watched...life is relative its myopic to generalise...there are more important issues to talk about.

A lot of religious people don't watch porn but their life is not successful, they are not happy.
You need to review your definition of being 'Successful '.

Or how do you define Success?

I hope you know that no sexual activity for men is worse than masturbation/porn.
Men who do not ejaculate frequently (3times weekly) are over 50% more likely to suffer protrate cancer/enlargement and erectile dysfunction.
This has already been debunked by verified professionals and doctors. Not true.

Is it all gamblers that are living bad? Or alcoholics?
The truth is majority may be but the few smar ones applied moderation.
Whatever you do ensure moderation laced with serious discipline.
Hmn...there's a very thing line between moderation and getting stuck.

In fact, the assumed moderation is like a long time seed, potentially enough to wreck havoc.

They all have the same consequences whether short term or long term.
Health / Re: Why Porn Is Ruining The Lives Of Men by Hahjascho(m): 10:50pm On Mar 08
Guys!

This is a bitter truth that's so hard to decipher.

Man (his soul) is created with an energy, meant to be creative and do great exploits. One of the things that leaks one's energy is this masturbation/porn. You will never realise this except one genuinely breaks free. It could be hard to believe.

Many might want to justify and disapprove this but, it's the truth.

This is the same thing a smoker would say when criticised and asked to quit smoking...even when it's clearly written that smokers can possibly die young. It's that so bad.

My opinion: Nothing is impossible. It may be hard to stop but, your soul and generation outside you will thank you.

Someone once said here that: 'A man without self discipline and self control is like a ship floating in an ocean without a sailor/captain. With time, it drowns.'

Exactly brother
Not all gamblers, alcoholics are depressed
Whatever you do, moderation is key
Believe me...there's nothing like moderation. Once you start, it ends in disaster. It's the bitter truth.

Education / Re: Does Nysc Still Post First Class Graduates To Higher Institutions... by Hahjascho(m): 10:12pm On Feb 09
Lastbornbuns:
Hi all,
Please how much were you paid as a corper posted to a tertiary institution?

Cc: Nestech Hahjascho Kingzd
What an old thread.

Being paid or not in an higher institution, depends on the department and its financial condition.

I did my service in University of Ibadan and I was not paid. However, some other corps members (in the same UI) got paid.

N.Y.S.C is great experience you would later cherish, even after the service. So, make it count.

Have a genuine intention and a clear plan of what you tend to achieve.

Whether you are paid or not, look at other things you might tend to gain in the long run...maybe in relation to your career progression or networks. If it's worth it, go ahead, and vice versa.

Make the best use of the period.

This may be hard to believe but, masturbation drains one out of creative energy. It has a way of dulling one's brain after giving out cheap dopamine.

Forget the baseless justifications that it has benefits, its consequences is alarming...for those who really want to stand out in life.
