Hey ladies, I have not posted for a while but I am still constantly praying with you all.

Just wanted to share what I experienced not too long ago. I went for a baby shower and the place was so packed I was actually thinking to myself is this a baby shower abi a wedding. People were jist so happy, everyone wating n drinking. The woman happens to be in my mum's women's meeting so she had to go n of course she dragged me with her but my mum didn't know the woman's story and we were both wondering the same thing. It was like everyone was so happy for this lady and her husband. Sometimes the husband will just start jumping up as if say na craze. Later my mum asked her friend sitting next to us what was going on exactly n it turned out that the woman was expecting twin boys after 13 years of marriage.
I actually screamed and I just started crying, I was so happy for the couple I had to imagine wat that 13 years must have been like.
I just had to come and share this story just to encourage someone today, I beg you, please do NOT give up. God does not forget his children, he will surely grant those heart desires.

@prettymomma tell me abt it my sister. Every single day I take a moment to just thank a God while looking into my daughters eyes. Sometimes I find myself talking to myself, it's almost like I can't get over the fact that am now a mother. God has been so wonderful.
And the fact that LO is healthy and thriving with absolutely no health issues is so fulfilling. I have a friend dat was due 3 weeks after me but she ended up havin her baby at 34 weeks, and I know what she's going through now. I keep praying for her cos it takes strength to pull through such. I promised myself that I will never take for granted this blessing that God has given me.
I get so emotional just talking about LO, it's unbelievable.

How u dey dear? How's LO kicking? Hope ur ready and done with all the baby shopping. How excited are you? The closer I got to my due date the more I could not wait to meet LO.

My dear blendy, there's nothing I have not tried. I just concluded that it's a newborn phase that will end at some point. She's a little over 5 weeks now so hopefully aware getting closer to the end of it.

My main problem is that she wnt sleep unless smeone is carryin her, once u put her down she'll start screaming. So it's either am holding her or my mum is holding her, dats d only way she sleeps. I've tried evrythng pple hve been recommending stil no luck. I jst hope it's a phase that will pass soon. Cos wen I start work her baby sitter go suffer well well.

Udo pauly, congrats my dear sister. Words can't even begin to express the joy I feel in my heart for you. I know first hand what having a miscarriage or miscarriages can do to someone, it's only by the grace of God that we make it through.
This has been my prayer for everyone on this forum, to come and announce thier BFP and carry to term.

@pinkdaisy, dis my madam on top is such a handful. She wnt sleep unless smeone is carrying her, once u out her in her bassinet she starts screaming bloody murder. And she eats so much, I had to ask her Dr if am over feeding her cos she's really adding weight but he said there's nutting like over feeding at this age cos weight gain is really important. I just wonder if my breast milk supply will be enuf for her cos mehn, she can eat...whewww!!! I was planning to do exclusive for at least 6 months but at dis rate am not sure anymore.
How's LO? Ur 39weeks now, wow time really flies. Am glad ur baby is head dwn. Mine was head dwn but stil refused to cme out so I had to be induced. How did ur Drs appt go? Am so excited for u, get all d rest u can cos once LO cmes, rest flies thru d door.

@prettymomma, it's God my sister. Can't wait for u to put to bed as well. My delivery experience wasn't bad actually but I had a tear and had to get two stitches which hurt the first few days after I was discharged 4rm d hospital.
How ur LO, hope ur feeling those kicks and movements. I actually miss feeling LO in my tummy even tho am mre than happy to hve her in my arms instead.

@aderuntayo, my sister e no easy no be small.
My LO eats evry hour, exclusively breast feeding is not easy at all. I jst thank God for breast pumps oo, cos pumping helps me get a break so my mum or smeone else can at least feed her if not she will be on my breast 24hrs a day. Do you pump/express at all? Or u jst breast feed? Pumping helps me a lot and gives me a break,u might want to look into that. Unless u dnt plan on exclusively breast feeding for too long.

So this is based on my personal experience. The main thing abt recurrent miscarriages is finding out the cause. Mine turned out to be low progesterone after I went through a bunch of tests, so the only thng my Dr actually did differently was he had me on progesterone the whole first trimester and that worked like magic. My progesterone level with my 2nd pregnancy was even lower than d level of a non pregnant woman, so even b4 I actually lost d pregnancy my Dr told me d pregnancy might not make it.

I have a few questions for you if u dnt mind. Where ur 3 miscarriages all in the first trimester? At how many weeks did u miscarry? Also have u done any tests to try to figure out what might be causing the miscarriages? If you have, then wat was d outcme of the tests? The rule of thumb is that one miscarriage can be assumed to be just one of those thngs that happen but wen u have a 2nd and 3rd miscarriage more than likely thrs smethng causing the pregnancy loss. Having a miscarriage is so painful that I wuld suggest fixing whatever d problem is while praying to God for mercy too b4 getting pregnant again. Another tip my Dr gave me after my 2nd miscarriage was to give my body enuf time to heal b4 getting pregnant again, he suggested waiting a few months so I actually waited 3mnths.

@berrybass, why did u stop taking Fertilaid? Or did ur Dr ask you to stop taking it once it regulates ur period? I continued taking Fertilaid until I got pregnant even after it regulated my period.

@champs, we are exactly alike. Well, I have my 39 weeks check up in Wednesday and am hoping for sme gud news at least.

@berrybass, so sry for your loss. I too hve lost two pregnancies even tho none made it past the first trimester but dnt wry dear God will gve u double for your trouble. I hope Fertilaid works for you, it worked for me so am crossing my fingers for u. Are you still taking Fertilaid it you stopped after ur period became regular?

@champs, I went for my 38 weeks appointment today and after my Dr checked me she said my cervix has not even started to dailate, but my baby is head down. And I knew when she turned cos I started having pressure dwn there and d urge to pee increases cos d baby is on ur bladder. That's how I knew. The only way to know if your dailating is if your checked by it Dr. But u knw it's contractions dat dailate d cervix and since I wasn't having any, I wasn't too surprised. The gud thng is dat it can change at anytime. I was a little disappointed cos I was hoping LO would be born soon. I don't want to rush her, I want her to come when she's ready but I just can't wait to have her in my arms.
My hospital will let me go up to 41 weeks b4 inducing me, but I prayer it doesn't cme to dat.
When is ur next appt? Am sure ur Dr will check to see if you have started dailating at all.

@tanidabi, so sorry dear, God will give you double for ur trouble. Have you treated the high prolactin? I too hve PCOS and all I took for it was Metformin and it worked for me. I believe you can try naturally but just try and take care of the high prolactin and PCOS.

@gospelgirl, wateve u do, do not give up. We've all been ther my sister and we knw God always surprises us. So many of us got pregnant wen we least expected but giving up isn't an option my dear.
All you have to do is make sure u take care of your body, Am glad ur hubby is understanding. You mentioned you have high prolactin level, have u treated that already? And also all your other fertility tests, were the results normal?
If so then dnt wry, keep believing God. It's darkest jst b4 dawn and we knw the Gid we serve, he is the God of impossibilities and he has never failed.

Am jst patiently waiting for labor to start oo, but I have a feeling I get to 38 or even 39 weeks b4 goin into labor cos right now I have no signs at all. I have no problem jare, I can wait a few more weeks.

Wow, so am 37 weeks today. After two miscarriages I remember wondering if this day will ever come. I remember both miscarriages like they happened yestrday, and now am carrying my daughter and am full term...isn't God wonderful? I have never been happier in my life, I have never been more thankful and grateful to God for the opportunity to even experience this feeling. It hasn't been easy but it has been worth every second of it.
I thank you Lord for blessing me beyond my wildest imaginations, I thank you for forgiving me for those days when I cried like I had no hope, for those days wen i felt like i culdnt go on anymre, I thank you for granting my heart desire to become a mother and I thank you for giving me the best husband ever, I culdnt hve asked for a better man.
I promise to raise this child you hve gven me to love you, to know you and to worship you everyday of her life. My heart is so full of gratitude and I cannot thank you enuf.

@reliableGod, I think I knw dat feeling. But done let it affect your relationship wit DH. Just do wat you can and God will do the rest. There are days I want to stay home n chill without any disturbance but I jst make an effort to go out if it's important and there's no reason to hide. It is Well!!!

As for me, am jst counting dwn oo. Will be 37 weeks on Thursday and I honestly can't wait cos then am considered full term. So this princess of mine can decide to show up any day after that even tho I pray she waits till next week for her debut cos that wen DH gets here.
Am not fully ready too, I jst did her laundry sme days ago and I still have not set up her bassinet or even installed her car seat into car, so if she shows up now am in trouble.

To those who have sed the story is not inspiring, I respect ur opinion but in actual fact that story is very inspiring. As smeone who has had 2 miscarriages I can tell u that story is very encouraging. Having a miscarriage can b very devastating regardless of how long u hve been trying to conceive. That u hvnt been ttc for long doesn't make it any less painful.
I had 2 miscarriages in 5 months and only God saw me thru that period. I found comfort in all d stories I heard abt women u hve had miscarriages but stil went on to give birth. I wasn't very open abt my miscarriages but now I tell pple abt it jst to encourage them. I met a lady who had 4 miscarriages and now has 2 kids and her story really touched me.
Smeone sed it will scare pple, my dear ladies it's not abt scaring anyone but it's jst one of those thngs in life. No one ever wishes for a miscarriage and i dnt even wish it on my worst enemy but it's so common, I didn't realize how common it was until I had mine.
Marygold jst testified on d pregnancy thread that after 2 miscarriages at abt 8weeks, she's pregnant now n has heard her baby's heartbeat....pls how is dat not inspiring?
When I was reading that story and d lady sed she lost her pregnancy I knew thr had to b more to d story for Agiboma to post it on here and dats why I continued reading.

@goldenbaby, speaking 4rm personal experience I didn't do that leg up thng but sme pple say that it works. All I knw is dat I stay in bed for like 20mins b4 getting up but I dnt put my legs up. It's def wnt hurt so u can try it.
As for sperm comin out, sme of it will cme out na, evrythng can't go inside. And remembr u dnt need all of d sperm to get pregnant, u jst need a tiny lil bit to fertilize d egg.

@goldenbaby, am not sure how much they sell OPKs oo. Just go to any gud pharmacy and ask, they shuld have it.
Follicular tracking is a way to confirm ovulation for sure actually. Just dat it can get expensive so u have to go for scans evry 2day starting 4rm like CD 9 or CD 10 for u since ur cycle is only 25 days. But if you can afford it, dat is actually the method I wuld recommend.
Hmmmmm....I hve heard pple get thier periods even while pregnant but I dnt knw how common dat is oo, I jst dnt want to burst ur bubble, but if ur period showed up wen it's supposed to then more dan likely ur not pregnant.
My dear u've only been trying for 7mnths, hve it time and dnt stress out about it.

@pinkdaisy amen oo, I keep praying for a very smooth and easy labor. I never really dey around labor per say even tho i was in d hospital wen my sister had her first son but b4 i got thr she had already been given Epidural so she wasnt feeling d pain anymre. I already opted for Epidural as well jare, as my threshold for pain is very low.

@goldenbaby, u have only been trying for 7mnths, I dnt knw whr ur located but my Dr wuld want u to try for at least one year b4 they start putting u thru all d tests n stuff. The only exception is if thrs a health issue going on already. Having sed dat, u can try using an ovulation prediction kit to test for ovulation, d only thng wit dis is dat it doesn't tel u for sure that u have ovulated, it jst tells u dat ovulation is coming. Or can also chart ur temperature evry morning b4 u get out of bed as well.
You sed ur cycle is 25days, is it 25days evry month? If it is then dats pretty regular and more dan likely u ovulate around CD 12-CD14.

@pinkkdaisy, ur jst 31 weeks n worried abt ur baby being in position for birth? Ur funny ooo. My Dr stil has not even checked if my baby is in position up till now. She says thrs no point cos if u check too early n they are head down, d baby can stil flip cos thrs stil a lot of time. She my hospital doesn't start checking until ur at least 36 weeks. So my dear no worry urself, ur baby will do wat she's suppsd to do.

My dear I was at labor n delivery yesterday n one lady was in labor, u need to hear her scream....fear catch me oo. As dramatic as I am, I wonder wat dat day wil b like...make I no punch my nurses or Dr or even DH for face oo. Anyway I no dey shake, God dey!!!
