You can always reapply for a visa. Mind you, you can only enter the U.S any day from Dec 13 if you get the visa. Good luck.

Medicine is evidence based. Current studies say it's more like a placebo and doesn't add any benefit in treating the virus. Who ever giving it in the US is doing that at their own risk. So why would I even think of giving such to my patients? Do you know the implications of a medical error in the US? You may lose your license, get sued for a lot of money and may ended up in jail. Why would I risk that? I've treated many symptomatic covid-19 patients and never used HCQ and they did fine.

There are many off-label treatments used in the US, but such treatments must have undergone diligent studies and consensually approved by the AMA, FDA, CDC before they can be used. The lawyer will lose the case. Everyone knows this. The FBI has enough evidence and they don't strike unless they've gathered enough to prosecute. The lawyer is only looking for a few fights with the FBI and gets paid before throwing in the towel. In the US even if you were caught speeding, you can get a lawyer that will drag your case. However, you will lose the case at last (above 2 years later) but the gravity of the violation would have been mitigated by time.
