I can never be poor. Only a fool will think this pastors depend on tithe. Psalm 112:3 Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness enduresforever. Proverbs 13:22 A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous. |

Business / Re: Nigerian Women To Emulate by k2039: 8:16am On Dec 21, 2013 |
ajoguegbe: Never trust any Forbes Africa report, unlike the US the guy does no research. He once wrote one funny piece on "the richest Nigerian pastors" Any person who knows even a little about Nigeria will know that that guy though a Nigerian knows little about his country and relies on hear say. Whereas I admire these women mention but in a true list of people to emulate, some of these people will not make the top 50 list. It all depends on who is ranking sha. The dude concentrated on fashion and beauty with one doctor. What happened to intellectuals and hardline entrepreneurs? What happened to Alakija, Chimamanda, Ngozi Iwealla, Oby Ezekwesili(Due process), etc Keneeby: Prof. Dora Agunyili shud b on dat list. She is one of d greatest women we've had in this country. Are they young? |

I assume from your thinking that nairalanders are not humans but robots, mtchew. If you can find love on nairaland then it simply means love can be found on nairaland. The naysayers who keep ranting about the impossibilities of online dating in most cases have never tried. They heard someone who also heard someone say it doesn't work and everyone just re echoes. |

Sports / Re: Yaya Toure Is BBC African Footballer For 2013 by k2039: 9:00am On Dec 03, 2013 |
victorlexa: Yaya is among d top midfielders in d world... Where is mikel der? Sm1 dat was almost sold by chelsea in d last transfer... Yaya didnt perform in nations cup bt has bn a pillar dis season in man city, ylr mikel has had to cope wit few stats nd substitute appearances,by d way yaya is more recognised worldwide nd dats also a reason y he got most of d votes.mikel is gud tho i think he has a chance of winning d caf award cz i cnt rememba d last tym a player won d bbc award nd caf at d same tymThe fact that it hasn't happen doesn't mean it won't happen. Before Messi won the world best three times in a row, no one achieved the feat. |

greatgod2012: @op, is it the pastor that will live with the person till death do them part.Well, the pastors may be right. The problem is actually with christians who do not have a relationship (koinonia) with their father. They haven't develop their hearing abiility and they expect it to happen suddenly as soon as they are ready to marry, smh. They are spiritual bastards, begotten by a father they do not relate with, left with the hands of a mother (church, pastors etc) who tells them about a father they never met. The key is know (epignosis- full, accurate knowledge) your father and have a fellowship (koinonia) with Him. A pastor is just to confirm (he confirms because emotions may cloud our judgement) what God has spoken, but how can you know what God said when you don't relate with him and understand how he speaks to you. Btw, if you relate well with your father, you won't even date someone who isn't your husband in the first place. |
