Can anyone believe that a God has walked this earth? If we were visited today by Martians, who are informed that the creator of this world once walked the shores of the sea of Galilee, sojourned with his children about 30 years, then departed without leaving behind a single lasting beneficial legacy, they would certainly be struck by puzzlement as to the nature of this god. Well, this god, who called himself the Son of God, but also the God, walked this earth at a time of immense ignorance as to the nature of reality, great poverty, debilitating diseases, great social injustices, slavery and wars. But left the scene without dealing with any one of these ills. He claimed to have cured instances of illness such as leprosy, but why did he not eradicate leprosy. That would have been a far better legacy than healing one single isolated case of leprosy.
