When i tell my fellow Yorubas that the basic problem of Yoruba are Fulanis and igbos, they fight me .i hope u can see this ,this a reminder to some yorubas forming useless alliances with fulanis or igbos at the expense of your yoruba brother, the igbos and fulanis are parasitic ,that is why they always fight themselves for the control of power. At first the relationship btw igbos and fulani was very sweet when azikwe was licking the juicest part of the fulanis butt, until igbos killed fulani leaders ,since then the relationship has become sour except shagari/ekeueme.That is why igbos will tell Yoruba to join them ,same with fulani telling Yoruba to join them too ,they now play Yorubas like ball.I would continue to say to my Fellow Yorubas dont join fulani or igbos for any thing at all ,let them kill themselves we would count scores and watch their remains rotting off. Similarities btw fulanis and igbos Both fulanis and igbos are landlocked Both Fulanis and igbos are nomadics and immigrants :they leave their land and disturb people in their land Both fulanis and igbos are Violent, intolerant ,religion extremist (Igbos (christainity) fulani (islam) Both Fulanis and igbos believe in their tribe supremacy ,both believes they are born to rule. Both Fulanis and igbos believe in brainwashing people and other tribes to work for their agenda. Both are covetous and very greedy Both Fulanis and igbos alway want to hijack ,dominate and control other people's land. ANY YORUBA PERSON WHO FORMS ALLIANCE OR RELATIONSHIP WITH IGBOS AND FULANIS SHOULD BE READY TO BE USED AND KILLED LIKE VICTOR BANJO (BY THE IGBOS) ,MKO ABIOLA(BY THE FULANIS) 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Arexit:That is getting cause and effect backwards. The reason why it was the point of import/export was because it was where the economic activity was concentrated, and had been since before Nigeria even existed. The reality is, the entire rationale for the British conquest of what they would later call "Nigeria" was to provide a "buffer region" to protect the crown jewel of the Lagos colony. It is nothing more than self-deception at best to pretend that the economic preponderance of the SW owes anything to colonial whim. The British had other ports they could have used, like Port Harcourt or Calabar, and Lugard would certainly have preferred either over the "uppity" Yorubas with their demands for voting rights and freedom of speech. Unfortunately for him, he had to put his seat where the money was, which is why Lagos remained the capital. 9 Likes 1 Share |

If you look at the table there was no Fulanis in Nigeria, so how did they come about to become Nigerians? Hausa really destroyed this country because they allowed Fulanis to enter this paradise to destroy it. 2 Likes 1 Share |

So a jobless yoruba yoot was fortunate enough to stumble upon a colonial document and found out that despite the huge revenue his brainless fathers made for the British they were only giving less than 1% of their revenue to cater for their hopeless selves. He then turned it against Igbos as he doesn’t have the mental capacity to confront the British for the worst kind of slavery his fathers were subjected to. He then brought the news to Nairaland, and behold a host of his fellow ethnic zombies drooling at the mention of Igbos. Pray, tell how this was the fault of Eastern Region or Igbos who were also marginalized? Is there anywhere in the document where it seemed like yoruba revenue was been allocated to Eastern Region? Wetin come make this gutter water guzzling and amala chewing irritants dey bleat about the thread crying Igbos everywhere? Igbos living rent free in Ibadam, Oshobo, Akure, Abiokuta, Lagos, Lagoon, and yorubabrain. 2 Likes 1 Share |

baddosky1: The Nigerian pound was the currency of Nigeria between 1907 and 1973. Until 1958, Nigeria used the British West African pound, after which it issued its own currency. The pound was subdivided into 20 shillings, each of 12 pence. The currency of Biafra 1968-1970 The Biafran pound was the currency of the breakaway Republic of Biafra between 1968 and 1970. The first notes denominated in 5 shillings and £1 were introduced on January 29, 1968. A series of coins was issued in 1969; 3 pence, 6 pence, 1 shilling and 2 ¹⁄₂ shilling coins were minted, all made of aluminium. 5 Likes |

TrackerXL: A conquered tribe that willingly relinguished it's heritage(identity) and part of its patrimony (Ilorin readily comes to mind) to Uthman Dafodio during his crusades now has found their withered voice. Tinubu still pays obeisance to the Fulani's with all Yoruba race in tow and you're here muttering gibberish. Tivs & Jukuns resisted the jihadist like warriors, reason why they are still trying albeit futilely to annex their land till date but your cowardly tribe couldn't as much as put up a defence in defiance or even put up seeming show of pseudo bravery instead they capitulated like they always will and today the result is that Ilorin has an emirate and not an Oba. Shame on your forbearers who have passed on that cowardly gene to you. Osibanjo can't even let out a whimper of resistance even when he is obviously treated poorly... Recall how Atiku resisted Obj (a retired Gen) but your Prof can't do that. Yoruba's will always seek the validation of their Fulani masters before they become anything worthwhile in the Nigeria of today. I would rather remain a proud 5%er than be the weeping baby of a ruthless Fulani task master from Futa Jelon! 1 Like 1 Share |

You ranted without bringing anything meaningful out and you're still boasting. Is bragging part of your culture in igbo land? Counter the OP's with facts and stop being silly. Yoruba has been marginalized for decades without us complaining but when the cookie jar was taken away from you lots, the whole world won't rest. You're a disgrace to common sense, you and your ilks. I don't know why you're still invading our spaces both online and offline cos left to me, I would have closed our borders on you at Ore decades ago. 9 Likes |

Balogunodua:Yes, I saw what the west generated and the paltry sum they were given as allocation. So now you know when we say Nigeria is a british business and that we weren't joking. And when we cry that Nigeria is marginalising us, we are not denying others reality and not stopping anyone else from shouting too. It is not a contest between east, ss, south west or the north who is more marginalised or provides more allocations but allowing commonsense to prevail. Which is that everybody should have a right to their own resources and be governed by themselves. 1 Like |

2elliot:What do you mean by Awo fighting those injustice? Was Awo not the one that fought for referendum to be included in our constitution? Because he forsaw what would happen if it was not included, but your so called Zik of Africa joined force with the North to fight him. But you see today he has been vindicated. But Igbos still blame Awo and Yorubas for what their greedy leaders did. 9 Likes |

Gbagura:So Igbos marginalized yorubas or what? Your fathers were too dumb to complain and confront the British then, so as 97% of you coward lots now, but how is that Igbos fault? So Igbos should not seek a redress to a parasitic and unprogressive alliance because when the yorubas were suffering it they kept quiet, even though you’re still suffering it Igbos should keep quiet because you’re keeping quiet? The suffering and smiling the most influential/popular yoruba man, Fela Kuti sang about is actually for the redemption of his docile tribesmen. Fela would be turning in his grave now. |
