Which part is a lie? My SIL is from Igbanke, they answer Bini names but aren’t Bini. I had a course-mate like that too. Are you saying Igbankes speak bini? Or they don’t answer bini names? Isn’t Ogbemudia from Igbanke? Isn’t Ogbemudia a Bini name? Again, which part is a lie?

I never said they're Benin,we bear Benin or esan names because of our ancestry......I hope you understand. But we are Ika not Benins.

Samuel ogbemudia,is half Benin and half Ika.He is a not a full blooded Ika man.

If you have an ancestory with the Benin people, you should pack your poor bags and go back to Benin before amadioha strikes you.

You don't come to somebody's land and claim there for another clan. I can't go to Beijing or New York and claim there to be Igboland. It's insane!

If you're from Benin, together with Nyesom wike, carry your bags jejely and go back to Benin. Nobody has any problem with that. You will be looking for trouble when you dare claim Igbo spaces as Benin land. That when you will see that osalabua air wetin sef..

Stop being emotional and Greedy.....

So where did I lie? The other guy asked you people to change to Bini names and I said Bini people don’t want more confusion. We are dealing with Igbankes who claim to be Binis but are more culturally similar to Igbos. Why will you be answering names you can’t translate? Ogbemudia’s father is Igbanke. Na papa side we dy follow for Nigeria.

Stick to your Igbo names abeg.

Oga na you sabi,Ika is a language of it own with it's own dialect.
Ika is a subgroup like every other subgroups in Igbo land.
Subgroups like
Nsukka
Abakaliki
Isu
Orlu.
If you decide to travel and educate yourself you'd find that Igbo is amazing they are lots to learn about Igbo not just about the language.
What you call ethnicity is just a subgroup,Ika is no different from Nsukka, when you come to Nsukka you will be amazed that they have their own different dialects and if you don't understand how language works you would say that they have their own language grin.
See take a language lesson or tour around Igbo land.
I have seen a community yet so together speaks a total different dialect,it happens in Igbo land and they are so many examples.
I don't have the time to educate you but u can educate yourself and cure yourself of ignorance.

Na now I know what you actually want to do but I nor go fall put, you're an Igbo man hiding under Benin.

Not just igbankes, all Ika carved into Edo have crying they want to be in Delta state with their brothers why are the Benin opposing it?

Culturraly we have little to do with the Igbos but more with esans and Benins, that is if you are really deep in ika culture.

Oba Erediawa of blessed memory, said Ikas should remain in Edo state so that they can add to the population of Edo South zone which the Benins use In suppressing other zone politically. The Igbanke people never claim to be Benins.

Pidgin English is a Language in its own right
It has a lot of English words/influence BUT

It is NOT English

The Speakers are not English People

Language and people are very different thing

The Olukumi people in Aniocha are Not Ibos but they are now hybridized

So this childish logic of they bear "Ibo" names or wear baby hats therfore they must be Ibo is very foolish

A language can grow as a lingua franca in a very wide region e.g Hausa Language in Northern Nigeria That does not make all speakers of Hausa Hausa People

Do you read to understand? I don’t care if all of IKA comes to Edo. I only want you to keep your identity. I don’t want to mistake you as a Bini man like what is currently on ground.

Answer IKa/Igbo names. Keep your identity. Don’t come and cause confusion.

This is in the UN Charter? The Nigerian constitution or what?

You just wake up and start talking rubbish.

Biologically a person gets 50% of their DNA each from both parents
The father does not make any superior contribution biologically.
Jerry Rawlings father was not Ghanaian

So this question of where you are from is based on so many different perspectives, traditions and laws not the narrow clannish
UMUNNA worldview

That is nothing new. We live in the internet era. Any dunce with internet access can become an intellectual , it is very easy
The internet finds employment for deranged people who might otherwise "enter market" or "enter express" . So it helps to contain social misfits and jobless urchins

This post is a Piece of S**t.

Agbor isn't part of IKA Nation, because it's a Kingdom recognised Centuries before civilisation.
the Dein of Agbor's name is Kiagborekuzi 1 only, and He or the Throne isn't affliated to the Igbo Tribe.
Agbor is a People, Language and Place. The Igbo name they bear is as a result of years of interaction with the Tribe, it's like naming your child after a Foreign Neighbour/Friend.
Agbor lost/forgot some of their Culture because of this close Interaction with foreigners.
The Title of the Chief (He can and will never be a King) of Owa was in the Palace of the Dein of Agbor, before his eventual Break-away.
Ika is a Place in Akwa-Ibom, and so can't be a Name for the Kingdom of Agbor.
Language similarities doesn't Change the Identity of a People. The people of Oza-Nogogo speak a Language similar to the Benin Language, but they remain Agbor Today, Tomorrow and Forever.

Pls OP, don't write things you don't know, I could sue You.

Disclaimer: Any body from IKA isn't from Agbor Kingdom.

Ok. I hope you understand why he did it. Igbankes are a minority in Edo south. If they were answering Igbo names, no bini man will vote for a “Chinedu “ to lead them. We are already a marginalized minority group. We won’t give political positions to Non Binis in Edo south. Imagine a Chibuzor Onyechi as Senator of Edo south senatorial district.

Oza Nogogo and the Oza in Edo state speak very similar language which Is different from Bini. We Binis cannot understand a word of what they say.
