First of all, you cant find all the schools in cyprus in BRAINTRACK, only few schools are listed on braintrack. Google search is sure bet.

Second,
yeah you can find schools in south Cyprus with fees like 2170euros per semester but the Southern Cyprus immigration rules states that all international students shall make a deposit of 3200euros to any of the schools that the student is beign  accepted. So the school will add the tuition fees per sesmester with the visa deposit, application fees and VAT to make the money upto 3200euros but subsequent payments will be 2170 euros or as the case may be. But it is advisable to make one year payment cos it attracts almost 50% discounts. For instance AMERICAN COLLEGE in south Cyprus charges 3200euros with those other payment per sesmester but if you want to pay full you will only pay around 3600euros full year(50% discount) instead of 6400euros.


All the schools there offer summer programs starting july but most summer programs are language courses and diploma programs.
So you can check and make enquiries from the schools. some of the schools not listed on BRAINTRACK are Fredrick university, Internapa college, CTL Eurocollege, European university of cyprus etc


Also on arrival you must present atleast 1600euros either in cash or travellers cheque to the authority to allow you in.

the route to LArnaca international Airport is through Dubai. so students can fly thru emirate airline and 1year open return tickets is around 166k.

@mr wipe,thanks for the good work and you created to reply our mails.I have paid the school fees but on the remittance information my bank did not include my admission reference number as requested by EMU just my name and surname.please I want to know if it will affect me in anyway cus I wnt to foward it to the school but wnt to know first.thanks a lot.

It does not matter since your name is on the payment information, our account office will trace it to you. I already received your payment slip and has been treated. Kindly wait to obtain your confirmation letter from your agent. We shall forward your confirmation to your agent PHHC.

NO your name was not on our first list and we are yet to send the 2nd batch to the embassy.

As stated in one of my posts recently, we received new policy and directives from Turkish embassy about student visas. The procedure to issue visas will be more strict now due to many loop holes found. In order to make Cyprus as crime free as it is issuance of visas to students with varying intentions will be difficult now. Each visa that will be issue most follow strong statement from the admitting university. The few visas issued to EMU students, we were called by both Turkish embassy Abuja and Istanbul to verify the authenticity of the students before they make their decisions.

EMU is striving to ensure we recruit quality students and follow up in their visa issuance and any students found unseriuos or with illegal intentions will be flushed out.

Heard it was due late arrival of the names from the school though, cos they later gave the last ones waiting.

So Mr WIP, incase a student who had paid his fees but was denied visa, what will he do? reapply or ask for refund from school which i know takes almost 2 years or more to claim. Seems reapplying is the better option?

late arrival of names cannot lead to visa denial. Do you know what it means to have DENIAL STAMPED on your passport? see let me explain things to you the way it works, when student get appointment and we have not sent the student name to the embassy, when the student apply, The embassy will contact us to know the status of the student and as soon the skool approves the student and the student docs are okay, such student will be given visa. Thats the way it works!

If student visa is denied, then the student will need to write the university with the attachment of the denial visa copy and reason for denial. The refund takes just within weeks as soon as the university confirms from the embassy incase of EMU, i dont know the university that takes 2years anyway. EMU is within week if all docs are provided!

Things are changing, how can the first 10-12 candidates from NEU got denials till the remaining candidates from the same school start calling the school authorities and them in turn making calls to Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa before the last applicants for the day were given visas after so much delay, even there payment receipt had 30th of July date while the visa date reads 31/7. Though all the students from EMU had their visas. Well I have a friend that is working at the embassy who told me that they dont have names from NEU till yesterday evening. Things are changing becos before they will tell you that your name isnt with then yet, and that you check later but now, anything leads to denial.

What is the justification of the denial of VISAS.will they refund their visa fees back.all the time and money spend going to ministry of this or that.I just feel for those student denied.I think there is a conspiracy btw EMU and d turkish Embassy..why will NEU student get denied visa and EMU get theirs. @ade001

When i applied around 2006 feb, my dad had only about 400k deposit and they gave me visa, but things have changed now, from 1m and above will due. You dont CAC and tax Clearance cert any more. all the questions they will ask you are things you know, from school name, school fee, course, sponsor and any other funny questions. Before, your answers to these questions means nothing but now, a new consular is in charge, you have to know those things,just be bold, there is nothing difficult there.

Your name is not on our second batch. When did you recieve your confirmation letter? NO you dont need to go with primary school cert ooo just High school result.
