At the rate we're going, Nigeria will be Africa's top manufacturing powerhouse in the next few years. Kudos to the FG for showing vision with this entry into aircraft production. This country needs visionary leaders that can think big things going forward. 82 Likes 9 Shares |

WesternOligarch: The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology IS in Zaria, Kaduna State. That is where we have the expertise available to build aircraft. Where should we build the aircraft? In your village? 44 Likes 5 Shares |

Foolishbuhari: The Dangote Refinery and the newly renovated Port Harcourt refinery are equipped to produce Jet fuel, or aviation fuel. Use your brain, and follow the news before injecting your ignorance and negativity. 31 Likes 1 Share |

Quintopia:Don't be a fool on my mentions please. If you get a hard on with foolish news and misplaced priorities, take it far from here. If your brain doesn't tell you this is just an elaborate scheme to fleece the nation's purse, then you're dumber than I I actually give APC Cr3tins credit for. Is Dangote refinery govt owned? Should a country of 200 million people depend on a private refinery for her petroleum products? Is it right? Has the govt finished solving health care, education and hunger problems in the Country? As simple as those, they've been unable to fix it but you expect them to manufacture air crafts. Abeg carry your mumu far from here abeg. 85 Likes 6 Shares |

Foolishbuhari: Nigeria is not a communist country where govt is responsible for everything. The private sector has a very big role to play in building this economy. The 12 billion dollar Dangote refinery is among the world's largest, and is a Nigerian asset. Has the govt finished solving health care, education and hunger problems in the Country? As simple as those, they've been unable to fix it but you expect them to manufacture air crafts. Abeg carry your mumu far from here abeg. You are an ignorant dunce of the first order. There are poor and hungry people in Brazil, India, Pakistan, China, and even the United States, and it hasn't stopped them from innovation and scientific development, building aircraft and even space vessels, which have provided employment for their people and helped raise living standards. If you had a working brain in your head, you would be looking to capitalize on the fledgling aircraft industry by setting up a manufacturing of specialised aircraft parts that will feed the new industry. Tomorrow a Chinese or Indian will enter here and start doing it, while a lazy dunce like you will be on Nairaland typing rubbish out of your anus. 42 Likes 5 Shares |

WesternOligarch: Every part of this country matters. In the coming years, we will see a situation where the South will call for the democratisation of key military institutions. Until then, we continue to make-do with what we have now. |

A country that have no scientific standard cannot produce anything that can be trusted. Let's start with making sure we have constant power, then we make standard roads, then learn how to refine our own crude oil before we start trying to invent a solution that we don't have a problem for.
