Kindly advise me,
I have the intentions of travelling to dubai next month, i have been planning to travel since last year but i have not been able to because of funds, i have now been able to get the funds, because of the way it was sourced i am being very careful not to make any mistake that will cost me a lot. I had initially planned giving someone 800dollars for a 1month visa but upon reading this thread i have been really enlightened. I have plans of going to Abuja next week to do the attestation of my documents and planning to process my e-visa with etihad.
The issues i need advice on are:
1. What are the documents i may be asked to produce? Will i just get the 1month visa just by buying their ticket?
2. What are the job prospects for a geologist who graduated since 2009, with no relevant experience in the field of geology but 1year (Nysc) in Inventory Mgt and a certification in Safety(HSE).

*I copied the above because of your knowledge/contributions about this topic, i will really be glad to have the inputs or perspectives of everyone of you about my post. I will also be glad to have any other person in the house contribute. If you have any job openings you know of over there that matches my profile that i can apply to too kindly inform me (note: i have been applying to middle east jobs online since 2009, all to no avail, even naija own sef.)

Firstly,tbere are two type of 1mth visa one with extention and one without extention. Check the etihad contact website check their contact phone no 081********48, his name is mr andrew ask him anything before the process, he will guide you everything.
Secondly, the visa of 1mth with 1mth extention is 110$ and you will pay it to Eko bank nd you will scan your teller, ur internation passport and passpot photo with white backgroud to his mail and he will send you a form to fill and return it to him after the visa is out he will mail you to buy the ticket and release the visa to you.

Yes, and after the visa is out they will ask you to buy a ticket from them. Reason is that Etihad will be your sponsorer.

HAH: My inquiry is on investment in Dubai, my friend have been to dubai severally on tourist visa but because of the uncertainties of Nigeria want to move to dubai with his wife and two children.

He want to commit like 10M naira to this and also thinking of buying into an existing business as a partner with like 7M naira the balance of 3M will be used for initial set up.

Kindly advice on the oppotunities that he can invest in and accomodation as well other necessary things needed for this endeavor.

My friend was a banker but axed during the crises he presently only managing his 2 buses that bring the daily bread he has a house in Abuja which he reside in and another in lokoja, he intents selling his land in Abuja which will bring 10 to 15M for the immigration.

We advised him to invest here but he refused that what he is looking for is a sane enviroment that he will raise his children, He said Nigeria is very unpredictable. He is actually not going to be an economic migrant.

Ofcos its possible that's why am insisting that you attest your certificates b4 coming.
If a cleaner can earn 1500dirham= 64k
A mere security at MR biggs 2000= 86k
All with an SSCE certificate,so ask urself how much do you think an individual working elsewhere will earn.
But with ssce attested, you can make up to dat amount.
