there's this girl who is 18yrs, she claims to be in love with a 27yr old guy who is a graduate and is a bit comfortable. The guy has proposed to her and she has happily accepted. The issues on ground just seem to be 1. Her parents are against her getting married. But she claims that since the mother did it (i.e got married) at 17yrs, she's equally matured to get married to her bf. 2. Anoda things is she's hasn't seen the four walls of a lecture room, she's not an undergraduate, she's a Jambite. But her bf or fiance has promised to send her to school once they get married. She now threatens the parents that if they don't permit her, she'll pack out of the house of which her parents haven't even met the so call bf/fiance. What's your take on this  |

@OP she should do what she pleases and LEARN FROM HER EXPERIENCES. the parents have very little say in this matter as she seems to have make up her mind. the only person who may have a chance at changing her attitude is the clueless BF who doesnt understand "yet" that the way she foolishly and arrogantly react to her parent's authority is how she will in the future react foolishly and arrogantly towards his marital authority as the head of that miserable family. to each their own! 3 Likes |
