@Tenderchic; dey don't do ART der otherwise, nothin 4 bring me come dis pricey Abuja grin. But since u recide here, u can try Laparoscopy(lap&dye) at Nisa Premier, a more sophisticated but definate technique were an incision will be made on ur navel & an instrument wit a camera is inserted 2 view d womb while a dye solution is passed tru d cervix 2d tubes. U'll be given d video after d proceedure as it is done unda anaesthesia but an outpatient proceedure. Wen I did mine 2012, I paid N120k. Don't know of now. It's usually done by one Dr Ola, a consultant based in d UK. Whichever u decide, confirm d patency of ur tubes 1st den we can take it up frm there. Don't mind who sugested ICSI 4u. Its NOT applicable 4u.
1st tins 1st; inform dh so u don't shut d door of favour against urself. In my case who knows if I ve kept it frm my Dh maybe d result frm VICAS would ve been same wit d 1st. Becos were I did d 1st was also credible; a consultant radiologist 4 over 20yrs wit 44 reference hosp kaduna. I belive God did a miracle 4 me. But weda it was a mistake, its 2d Glory of God 4 exposing & putting d devil 2 shame.

Pls can u explain how u inserted it & is garlic medicinal 4 vaginal infections? Dis is a welcome idea as I try 2 avoid antibiotics as much as I can. Pls throw more light; did u marsh d garlic b4 inserting? Wat quantity? How deep?

I used 1 small garlic, peeled the back/peel n insert into vija. It is good for some infection and it is better to insert at night cos u feel d taste in ur mouth when u insert. Pls don't marsh d garlic. Just put 1 or 2 tiny cut or hole

My dear mumydidi, dis forum is open 4 discusion on watsoever is bothering u. No one is an island of ideas. I usually encourage people 2 bring questions 2d floor of d huse so others can contribute. I ve said d much I know about vicas. @modaofnation I want to know if that hsg is the same with the one they do in other hospitals and after which is there guarantee that the tubes open,Wats the difference between this one they do at kaduna and the one u did at nisa premire And am no scam I know is hard to trust ppl but not my kind,u could just post the number on ♍♈ mail I will appreciate it cos its better to verify properly from u before going from abuja to kaduna. I just called d doc and his wife picked and said is 20k for the test and flushing exempting card

@mumydidi; my darling mumydidi pls don't be offended. Am not refering 2u concerning scammers. A lot of guest are on dis tread daily & any1 can pik d no if posted openly. But if it's email, no problem. But as I explained, SonaHSG is difrent. As they're passing d liquid solution tru d Vjay, a normal scan is done concurrently & u'll be viewing ur womb on d scanning machine screen & see how d liquid is passing tru d tubes & droping at d other end if tubes are patent. Its quite difrent frm d usual Hsg wer afta d liquid is passed u wait 4d Xray snapshot. Laparoscopy is a more improved technique. U can google d proceedures sha 4 clearer understanding. How high is your FHS and LH? Whats your age bracket? Also what is your AMH level? Do you ovulate? Are you overweight? And please do not say your story is pathetic. Wait on the Lord. He will answer you and give you all your children at his appointed time. All you have to do is pray for his directions. It shall be well. [/quote]

@Celan Hmmmmnnn. your levels are high oooo I must tell you and this simply means that even if you ovulate your eggs will most probably be of poor quality. Mine was 21 last year and after series of medications it came down to 18 which is still high as anything more than 10 is considered high. You need to get on DHEA (micronized), Coq10, Fish oil, Melatonin, Vit C, Wheatgrass, Royal Jelly, Vitex etc and if you can Accupunture and Yoga. They are still some other supplements but I took all these plus of course your prenatal supplements.

And its not just cut down weigh, more like you need to exercise so that they will be more blood flow to your reproductive system.

But then again have you considered egg donor? With a donor as long as your womb is okay your chances are as good as the persons age. Discuss with your DH though because the above supplements will take some time to work and the decrease might not be significant enough for a change. Above all Pray, there is nothing God cannot do.

@all; I learnt in Church 2day dat Just as Faith cometh by hearing The Word, Faith is also dampened by hearing & listening 2 negative people & news, Reading negative news etc.
Pls don't dampen ur faith by reading or paying attention 2 tins contrary 2 ur beliefs.
@mumydidi; I tried opening my mail on my phone but witout success as I was asked 2 log in tru d usual device which is my labtop. I'll try 2 load my modem 2moro & send u a mail. Meanwhile, like i explained, I visited cos I thot my tubes wer blocked based on my 1st result, but it turned out it wasn't. so d flushing was neva done on me. But flushing 2 my understanding isn't a separate proceedure, its just dat pressure is applied on d pump 2 push out wateva is blocking d tubes. D gd tin is dat u're viewing wat's happening but wit dis increase in price, u mite spend close to 25k including TP & card(1k). I tink some1 should be able 2 get a credible place here in Abuja 2 do it? Abi?

Sure icsi is happening there in Abuja. But pls note that it is not our goal to advertise any centre but to provide you high value info to succeed in your ttc. We appreciate your commendations lets give God the glory, thanks.
Now, for your icsi in Abuja, Visit Ruz Medical and Diagnostic Centre at 31, Ubiaja Crescent,
off Akintola Boulevard, Garki 2 , Abuja.
Telephone: +234 (0) 0806 869 4464, (0) 802 449 0378 Or
visit Primus International Super specialty Hospital Karu New Extension, Abuja, Nigeria

Ensure that you pay for consultation get all the facts from both before deciding the one that suits you as couple

Ebube2014:
@suremanpatriot
"Now blocked tubes is why you qualify to do ivf. But this time around you do a more advanced ivf called icsi, though more expensive"

I believe this statement is not correct. You do not do ICSI because of blocked tubes, the main reason for ICSI is male factor infertility. For blocked tubes surgeries may be performed to remove adhesions, dilate a tube( tube flushing) or create a new tubal opening. However, this is rarely done, as pregnancy rates are usually better with IVF. For hydrosalpinx, removal of your tubes (salpingectomy) or blocking the tubes close to the uterus can improve your chances of pregnancy with IVF.

No no no its unfair to attack suremanpatriot the way you did. We know what he was explaining that icsi is faster and more precise with block tube. Lets allow ppl who know it to share useful knowledge to enhance ttc success. My doc told me that new ivf dispensation is about saving money and high success rate. And this fits into wht surnman is trying to help do here.
Look my friend u don't know the burden that is being remove,I don't know ur agenda here to discredit gd wk, just let the guy be. Already suremanpatrot's post explanations here remove ambiguity about tcc, we don't need exchanges of crossfire on med technicality. We need to know direct tested solutions to save us waiting nightmares ,so dt ppl can get the info in a very clear message. What suremsn said is same my gyna said about icsi is that it is more advanced ivf, because fusion is done by the expert. Secondly it is of no use wasting time/ resource flushing blocked tubes where most cases it could block again and cause ectopic pregn misery for the couple.
Pls no destructive or negative criticism should be used to bloc the truth here. undecided

Good day to beautiful mamas, i am new in this forum. My own case is unexplained infertility, thou i had done iui in one of this specialist hospital at ikeja mid last year for three circle but it was not successful. Am just afraid to go for the ivf, meanwhile i don't even want to go back to the hospital that i did the iui again. Can the house suggest a place for me around ikeja that is very good in ivf. My sisters i need your prayer, support and words or encouragement. Thank you all.
Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Ebube2014: 4:09pm On Oct 16, 2014
lol @romanticcandy......" i believe" is not an attack, its the way I understand the literature. Please back your statement with medical science. ICSI is using a needle to inject a single sperm into the egg. Traditional IVF is throwing all the eggs and the sperm together and the sperm that first gets to the eggs fertilizes them. Again ICSI is about 200k more expensive so how are we saving money with ICSI? I am not here to fight or attack anyone and believe me this is not an attack its just correcting a wrong statement and all you have to do is do your research and prove me wrong.

So what you are telling me is that if she has 15 or 20 eggs retrieved she should go ahead and ICSI all 15? When she has no male factor issue. Do you know that a blocked tube can be opened with a simple procedure as HSG? My dear this forum did a lot for me. Brought me back from months of crying and depression so I feel a duty to make sure all literature here are correct even if I have to spend my precious time doing research on a statement that doesn't sound right to me.

If you feel offended i am sorry about that but the above statements are facts and not aimed at attacking anyone.

Whether you settle for ivf or icsi, ensure you do so in a standard ivf clinic closer to you. And ensure you tell them to refer u to the right place to do laparoscopy or whatever procedure needed b4 ivf ,don't just go on your own or on hear say,but go on the gynae recommendation because this is med Sci. It saves you trouble of wandering Fr pillar to post.

If somebody is trying to draw people's attention to the fact that ivf success rate is only one percent with all the plenty testimonies of successful ivf here and other threads, is it not display of ignorance? I saw most of these posts including that of deconsult and I choose to ignore them so i'll advice u Babes to do the same. There are lots of jobless youths roaming the pages of social media sites and NL is not left out so pls let them keep roaming, it's allowed but don't give them credence by replying them.
