since you said the fibriod has covered ur entire womb, I will advice you go for the surgery cz that d only best option, made up ur mind nd go for it.

@ Olubankemi, look at it this way, if you do surgery it might get rid of the variocele and u conceive kiakia. ICSI means you use sperm that you can't really predict the quality especially if youre dealing with variocele. Take it to the Lord in prayer and he will show you the way out.

@MummyEster I used one leaf in a one liter jar and refrigerated I was taking a small glass in the morning and another in the evening the thing is so bitter if u are not brave u won't drink it
Do not drink this on yo periods as it will increase yo blood flow

Other alternatives to induce is parsley, vitamin c, green tea u can google for further info

Also read this link. But like I said earlier, I prescribed the drugs myself. my doctors alternative was not available.

The MD couldn't get through my cervix either. It was a horrible, painful and very long hour and a half before he finally "thought" he was in the right place. He released the dye and it still went through my tubes, but before he left he let me know that my cervix might be the cause of my infertility. That was a couple of months ago. I went to my fertility MD this Monday and he pulled up the HSG photos up when I asked him if he thought that my cervix could be to blame and informed me that the doctor did NOT get into my cervix, but since the dye still did its job I know my tubes are open. He stated that many experienced MDs have trouble with the HSG


HSG requires some skill. A good certified technologist is much better if your doctor is having problem doing the procedure. Sometimes the cervix of woman is tilted and one must determine the opening of cervix before poking you with the catheter. 
I asked for a small speculum as my vaginal muscles are tight and it is painful for me to take a large adult speculum. Talk to your doctor and have him prescribe small speculum for HSG. I did my HSG today, yes I felt some pinching, mild pain but I have more abdominal cramping during periods. My technologist was awesome and I dont have any cramping after procedure.


I agree with you, I had my first HSG in April and my RE did it.  He had a hard time getting past my cervix when he managed too the dye did not go in the right tube and the prognosis was that I have a closed right tube and because of that I should proceed to IVF.  I was not happy because his admin had also asked me to take 600 mg of ibuprofin 24 hours prior and obviously the pain was unbearable.  After 1 failed IVF I wanted another HSG.  I went for the 2nd HSG yesterday and this time it was done by a specialzed technician who had no problem getting in and both my tubes are wide open and I did not have nay cramping or anything
