Do you have any paid job or occupation? Yes is the answer.

How do you mean by: improving the money you have in your personal account? Not enough for the trip?

@Just wise

I mean how i prove to them that the money on my account is gotten from the gain or rather sales I make from selling african wear?do i just indicate it there on the ADDITIONAL information page?

Do you have receipts of those sales? Yes use the additional info space to explain that but adding paper evidence will help your case a lot.

Good day 2 u all,

I need ur avdvice on my issue, I applied for uk visit visa for the first time in may 2012 nd was refused, reason that the acc my uncle who was my sponsor gave was his comp acct and dey were not sure of the source of the fund. I reapplied a week after with the help of a lawer providing all they asked for and I got the visa.
I stated in the form that I wud spend 3 mths but eventually spent 4 mths.

The issue is this I applied again last week and got refused. The reasons are stated below:

You state that you are employed and eaned N61,000 per mth, you have submitted your skye bank acct statement and transactiob history appears to support your claimed income but the closing balance has been reached via cash deposits for whichno evidence has been proved. I am not satisfied that the balance in this acct is a true reflection of your inancial status. I have also taken into note of your previous visa application in which you stated you would visit for 3weeks. According to the stamps on your passport you actually stayed 4mths and yyou have failed to providea an explaination for this. Furthermore I note that in your employment contract letter it states that you are entitiled to one month annual leave per annum and again no explaination for this breach of contract has been provided. Given the unexplained discrepencies I am not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor who will.......

You state that your uk sponsor is your cousin however no evidence of this claimed relatinship has benn produced. You have produced no evidence to show that the uk sponsor is able to provide sufficiently spacious accommodation.

Please I ll like to reapply and don't know how to tackle the issue. Your candid suggestions, opinions nd advices are welcome. Thank you nd God bless

No I dont have any reciept on any sales but my previous applications I did not put any paper work.can you suggest any I can add? I am still thinking if i should write a letter to them or just use the additional information section.

Thanks @justwise for all your reply.

Well read the refusal statement (Important parts in red I see five reasons for refusal!
Work on ALL of those before applying again.
Be aware that so many things including overstaying mean that it will be difficult.

Hi
I was torn between going to Google to check what that means or being honest
I am truly techno-ignorant embarassed

My hall has no Sky, sure of this
Has unlimited wifi....hope this means something
Have cables in my room which I am sure are for something

My neighbour does one magic and he can watch on his laptop....free stuff, cuts off often too

I have a laptop, ipad, cables, wires, TV......but cannot watch
If not for silly school, I would have started IT for dummies
(I hope IT is the thing I mean here)
SMH

Back home, I always could watch football....EPL, Seria A, La Liga, CL, Europa.....all
I cannot believe I am in London and not watching EPL lipsrsealed

Picked up my documents today and we were all denied(me, hubby and kid)on d grounds that we did not explain specific lodgement into the account as far as 2months before we applied even though I mentioned on the cover letter that the source of funds is from sale of my old car!. My advice just explain every single credit on ur account that is not tagged salary and provide evidence! Better luck next time

Sadly no, you can only reapply addressing those refusal points.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by delvy: 8:58pm On Nov 10, 2014
To tap into your expertise, we really needed a uk visa because we wanted to get to jamaica as well and there's no direct flight, also our visa to jamaica expires in 5weeks. Do you advise we apply for a USA transit visa despite the uk refusal and a previous usa refusal 2yrs ago and no other travel history.

Sure you can, the refusal stamp is not a crime as long as it got nothing to do with fraud. When asked at the interview just explain as much as you can. Applying for US transit visa will be a lot quicker since visa is issued at the interview.
