Yeah.. The visa gives you access to the >25 Schengen member countries and territories. I believe your other questions have been addressed on previous pages of the thread, take out time to go through the thread from the very first page and you'll find the answers you seek.

That sounds too vague. What kind of "arrangement" are you talking about? Better still, what exactly do you need "arranging"

Hello house! I applied for Swiss students visa last year but was denied, but they didn't put their rejection stamp on my passport, they only made a line across the initial acknowledgement stamp i got, when I went to submit my documents and also pay for the application fee. please does this have any implication?

I'm not sure I understand what kind of implications you meant.

The fact that you got a decision (rejection in this case) means it will be on their system whether they stamped your passport or not. However, this doesn't in any way stop your from re-applying provided you have all the required documents.

Good luck

I suggest you get in touch with the school's rectorate. The school is the one processing your visa with the "migrationsamt" (Office of Migration) and it is only when the "migrationsamt" approves/denies your application that the decision is transmitted to the embassy in Abuja, where they issue/deny you a visa.
To provide some perspective: When I applied for the visa, the embassy people told me to check in three month. However, in the fourth week, my school sent me a mail to go to the embassy and provided me with the mail and phone number of the contact person at the embassy.

So, you should contact your admission officer perhaps your school has similar arrangement with the "migrationsamt"

Good luck

Its really encouraging to know that this kind of thread exists. German,French,Italian...wow, how then will an average Nigerian interact with the Locals??
With regards to admission into public universities, what options do i have because i neither understand nor speak German,French and Italian.

From MSc level upward, all courses are taught in English (At least for ETH and University of Zurich). Hence, you are not required to speak any of those languages. It doesn't hurt if you learn one of them though.
